Yes I agree with this. My saying "start over" was directed at the management and leadership of the program. I figured it went without saying that I'm not talking about "firing" the players. Everyone getting a salary associated with the program should be replaced. It's nothing personal and I'm not like raving mad right now, I've just finally accepted that this group isn't capable of taking the next step and I don't think waiting any longer is really going to help anything.

Exactly. 100% agree.

I cant believe there are still people defending BK. He had one fluke season, no big bowl wins, several losses to bad teams, and loses almost all the big games. Team regularly looks lost and unprepared in big games. Lose games regularly to less talented teams. Is that the best we can expect? Will we just constantly say who can we get rather than trying to find a better coach? Its clear BK will never deliver a title, even a major bowl win would be an absolute shock.

The way Kelly looked at BVG on the third down catch to Corley and what he said during the post game press conference...BVG will not make it till the end of the season.

Yeah, appeared to call out the entire defensive coaching staff and BVG in particular with the statement about the players being our guys and we can't just trade them.

On defense going forward the rest of the year you have to play the more talented players. No more playing veteran players.

Need to see more Daelin Hayes, Jay Hayes, Kareem, thank god Coney is playing more, Bilal, Vaughn, Love, Eliot.

Also a big F U for Max Redfield fucking up

you can shit on the coaches, the players...

but you aren't a ND fan in my book

if you leave early

FUCK you

If they're going to stiff you for $150+ for that shit show, you can leave whenever you want.

I honestly think Kelly fires him this week

You really think so?

Kelly hurts himself by bringing in his good ol boys, bc then it becomes too real to drop the hammer.

Has Kelly EVER fired a coach on his staff? That'd be interesting to know.

How much does it cost to attend a ND game if you're not well connected? Most of the people in the good seats probably left early because it was past their bed time and they had to get home to take their medications. Ive never left a game early but when the majority of the stands are filled with 60+ year olds because they are the only ones who can afford the outrageous second hand prices dont be surprised when the stands are quiet and people leave early when ND is getting stomped on.

It's just mind boggling to me that BK won't open up the offense like he did at UC, especially since he's got the QB/RB tandem, and especially since he knows what he has in his defense.

HOW DO YOU CALL A TIMEOUT, ONLY TO PUNT AND PUT THE GAME IN TERRIBLE PORN STACH'S HANDS ANYWAY?

Put the game in Kizer's hands on 4th and 7. Turning to BVG was just a disastrously bad decision.

So disappointed in BK that I feel like he owes me answers on a personal level, like maybe with a phone call lol.

If we don't convert. Tell me what you would say...

You have to punt in that situation, I don't care what anyone says. And I am a guy that would basically never punt or kick FGs in any 4th and manageable situation because I believe in the statistics on that stuff. I think that insane HS coach who never punts is a hero. But that situation is, to me, the exact reason I would install the punt in camp and carry a punter on the team. You get to turn a 4th and 7 into a 1st and 10 and all it costs you is 20 seconds? All day you do that. The stupidity was in burning the TO and then your "best" corner just not even bothering to play 3rd and long. Under anything approaching normal circumstances that works and maybe gives you a chance to win the game. You go 4th and 7 and you're giving up.

We're probably a 5 loss team right now. Stanford, Miami, and then one of USC (who looks horrible), VT, etc.

This team is just bad. Texas losing to Cal right now (giving up 35 points in a half) proving that they actually aren't that good.

I was fooled into think our offense could carry the day but they're clearly not as elite as I thought.

Soooooo.... I guess just hope recruiting class holds together?

I reviewed the schedule again and I think his team goes 6-6. 7-5 best case scenario.

I should have specified. People younger than my old ass, yet old enough to drink and drive, and of course, the able bodied and well-rested, lol.

All of those people who left early suck. Rich and poor. :)

I saw the shit show like everyone else in America. I just happened to be in the stands.

Loyal and stupid to a fault I guess. My high horse of pride being the alma mater.

:)

We demand things of our coaches and players and rightfully so.

And this staff sucked tonight.

But that doesn't mean everyone else has to along witb them.

just my two

How many of them are going to de-commit after this month? One can only hope that the ones we keep are buying into the idea that they can come and make a difference. But with this current coaching staff, I am not so sure.

Offense is really young. 3 first year starters on the oline. All 3 starting WR's are first time staters. TE is also vey green, Smythe has only started a handful of games. Where the hell has Latua been this year? Would like to see him play more to help it the line. As good as Kizer is, he is only a redshirt sophomore who has started a total of 14 games. The offense is good, but still very young.

I'll take this one.....At least they would have TRIED to win instead of putting it on the suspect D.
Yup

We haven't stopped them much at all. They're built to run. Being conservative much of the game aided in putting us in the position we were in..

Vs.

Our offense has methodically marched down the field in the 4th. We have limited time and are down by 1+ scores. Aggression has worked down the stretch.

Gotta be aggressive there. Then again, if the play calls on that set of downs were better to begin with we may not even be in that position. You QB has been your best running back all day. I'm 3rd and 3, you go empty and he gets sacked.

What makes anyone think Herman would come here?? Or any big time coach for that matter?

If offered the job I don't think Herman would come to Notre Dame. To many restrictions from admissions on who gets accepted.

Much easier to bring in talent at a place like LSU or PSU for Herman.
