People said that about Diaco too, Riddick. I think we have to keep this in perspective here. BVG is coming in as a new DC with a scheme that our rivals aren't used to seeing. Given time, they may find a way to exploit it and attack it better, but for now we're doing a fantastic job keeping offenses on their heels. If BVG keeps it rolling that would be awesome, but I expect we'll see some fallout later as teams start getting more film on what he's doing.

Another thing to remember. We never would have recruited half of these freshmen under Diaco and sure as shit wouldn't be playing them.

I love this type of defense. Attack, and put the game in the hands of a college quarterback to read what we are doing. It came together quicker than I had hoped. Love watching them bring it. That blitz through the same gap was beautiful.

I'm a fan of BVG, but let's not forget that he's been a HC before (at Wayne State and Georgia Southern) and wasn't very successful in that capacity.

I can't remember the last time I loved watching a defense like I do this one. I'm not quite sure if it's because of all of the freshman, the aggressiveness, or just because they all play together.....but hell they kick ass and look like they have fun doing it!

I think Reece Davis called him uncle Rico last night at halftime of the Utah game or on CFB Final. Anyway it pissed me off. It's ok if we want to call him that, but not that helmet. And seriously, the Mark May thing is so effing ridiculous anymore. We get it, you aren't sold and nothing stirs the pot like hating on the Irish. It's just so over the top and he is such a scumbag about it. I know I shouldn't get mad about it, but damn it gets old. Mayock is giving me diabetes too. Can we just get Brady Quinn and Tommy to call the games already?
