Hard to watch this...I just don't understand. To see the comebacks this guy engineered, and the precision he showed in those situations...why are we here now.

Jimmy is a better passer, but no question Brady was a better athlete...

If I were him, I'd volunteer to play behind Manning wherever he goes for free...just get in a system where you KNOW they've made an investment to protect the Qb a little...

I hear he was in St Louis today too from a great source. It was confirmed by his tweet earlier that he deleted.

I think I read he visited with the Jets as well recently. Best of luck to him. I know he wants another chance to start.

Have always thought Brady's lack of accuracy & Jimmy's lack of ability to succeed whenever pressured with a pass rush would leave them both to be subs at the professional level at best ...

I wouldn't mind if Brady came in to back-up Luck with the Colts.

Brady is headed to Kansas City for some good BBQ and hopefully some successful playing time.

Good luck Brady!

APBrady Quinn is going to Kansas City.

The Chiefs announced the signing of Quinn, a free agent quarterback who spent the last two seasons with the Broncos. In Kansas City he’ll back up Matt Cassel.

Quinn entered the NFL as a first-round draft pick of the Browns in 2007, when Romeo Crennel was Cleveland’s head coach. This move reunites Quinn and Crennel, who’s now the head coach of the Chiefs.

Although some analysts thought Quinn was poised for NFL stardom when he was at Notre Dame, things have not panned out for him professionally. In three years in Cleveland he started just 12 games and never distinguished himself, and in two years in Denver he never even got on the field for a regular-season game.

The 27-year-old Quinn has a career stat line of 184-for-353 for 1,902 yards, with 10 touchdowns, nine interceptions and a passer rating of 66.8.

I actually think this is a great opportunity for Quinn. He will probably get plenty of chances if Cassel goes down or struggles, and he looked good for the Broncos during the preseason last year. Hope it works out for the guy!

How so? Derek Anderson struggled his A$$ off for the Browns under none other than Romeo Crennel and absolutely refused to play BQ.... What makes you think he's going to play Quinn now vs. the incumbent Cassell? Not attacking, just wondering as it was maddening while Quinn was in Cleveland.

Quinn signing with Crennel and Crennel wanting to sign Quinn kinda makes your argument make no sense. If Quinn thought Crennel didn't give him a shot and wouldnt I don't think hed sign with the browns and if Crennel didn't have at least a little belief in Quinn he woulnt go out and pay him

Wow I actually forgot that they fired Haley and gave Crennel the job permanently. Too much going on lately. I'm sure it was the mutual comfort there that led to Brady heading to KC, but I really don't know how that's going to work out.

Wonder why he didn't look at Miami, who's desperate for a QB. Or maybe the interest wasn't there. Either way, Crennel or not, Brady has to come out and prove himself in camp to secure the #2 job, and then hope for some reps during the season.
