Harder to stockpile talent and you can't chew out guys that make 2-3 times the money you do.

Cincy's offense had a good answer to start the game, but couldn't cash in.

Cincy's defense comes up with a good 3-and-out to answer Bama's.

Hopefully the Bearcats settle in and start to believe a little bit, Denbrock included. Playing conservative because it's Bama isn't going to get it done... they need to take some shots like they would any other game.

NFL is more of a meritocracy with the salary cap, draft, etc. College is more like international soccer. Can just buy your way to the top.

Alabama looks unbeatable. i guess they were just on some form of cruise control in the regular season.

Same as it ever was. They always look mortal at various points during the regular season. But just like most of Belichick's Patriot teams, they're always rounding into top form right before the playoff so they're always at their best when it counts.

Cinci could beat the 'Bama squad that nearly lost to Auburn. Not this version, though.
