Anzalone was always wavering and that was noticed by his fellow recruits. Kelly isn't going to be concerned with one kid when he's fighting for infinitely bigger things. Anzalones loss is nothing when it comes to solidifying this coaching staff..
In life, you meet people that make quicker and more irrational decisions than others.
Some are more emotional.
I don't know the kid personally, but I am 100% sold he would have been Irish had he not been so pressured by both his parents, peers, etc keeping in context the situation with Kelly.
Had this situation not occurred, he would be on campus and rooming with Huerman.
But everyone can keep telling themselves whatever makes them feel better.
AA is a good maybe great ball player and it seems to me an emotional decision maker vs. a logical one. A lot of 18 year olds are in fact.
It seems our board has a lot of them too, not exempting myself.
That doesn't mean he was wavering. It just means he was under intense pressure to make a decision for early enrollment.
Timing couldn't be worse for these poor kids EE'ing.
Faith is tough to have right now.
He wanted to play for a coach he knew would be there.
Come next week if Kelly is in Philly, he'll look like an oracle and his decision will be one others may have wished they followed...
