Hardly any comparable for his legal issues right now, you have the Jean Carroll stuff which doesn't look good for him, the tax issues, and then any insurrection fallout. Tough to convince me that the decision to run for public office caused any of this (except his role in the Big Lie/Insurrection as that wouldn't have happened if he wasn't the president who lead it). He was a public figure, you don't get to do shady dealings and then expect to get off scot free. Look ol'Joe's tax returns, the man has never hired a good accountant, wonder if that mess is on purpose or he's too cheap to hire a good one.
Lot's of people with a similar risk profile to the Donald have faced consequences for their actions - regarding Don's 25+ accusations we saw Epstein/Weinstein for example, we also see rich dudes get caught for the tax stuff all the time, and the insurrection who knows?
1. That lady watched an episode of SVU and copied the story. She also said "rape is sexy", among other bizarre statements, and all but propositioned Anderson Cooper live on television.
2. I'm not sure what Epstein or Weinstein have to do with tax problems. There is a large difference between being #MeToo'd having a state... where you've lived in the public eye for nearly your entire life... going after you, conveniently around the time you broke the city by beating their Queen in an election.
New York State isn't some bastion of justice and defending women. Look at their last 3 AG's lol. Quite the track record there.
3. Ahhh yes, the "insurrection." Wild how 3 months later and the only official homicide for this event was an unarmed Trump superman. Honestly, what those folks did was bad, even disgusting, but calling that an "insurrection" is offensive to those who actually have carried one out. I'm supposed to believe this was a violent takeover of the United States government when 3 months later, D.C. still doesn't even know what killed the cop?
Calling it the Big Lie is about 10x more appropriate than calling that an insurrection. But that has nothing to do with his legal problems either.
TLDR - one of the most famous men in the world faces legal problems in his home state AFTER he runs for President for the opposition party.
Again, Only Jesus could convince me it wasn't a political decision.
