Some rednecks at a NASCAR event were chanting 'Fuck Joe Biden' and a driver thought they were saying 'Let's Go Brandon'... now people are memeing about it on the internet!!!"

I dont expect him to get some deep briefing on it...I do expect him to know what Lets Go Brandon is. My mom even knows about it.

My family is almost exclusively Republicans ranging from anti-vaxx fringe people to mainstream MAGA to the disaffected who dislike Trump but still get their information from Fox News or the equivalent. Talking to them over Christmas, most had heard about the NORAD call. None of them -- except for the anti-vaxx people who spend all day on the internet (like me!) -- understood why "Let's Go Brandon" was code for "Fuck Joe Biden." I had to explain that origin story to the rest of the family and they all thought it was pretty stupid.

The main takeaway from the Santa NORAD call is that Brandon Schmeck is bad parent. Hijacked the moment for himself and his politics, modeled (at best) disrespectful and boorish behavior for his young child on Christmas Eve. I think extrapolating beyond that is pretty silly.
