I am just glad that we're ranked #1 this week and going into our final week. As long as we crush USC and shut up Kiffin that will do it for me. I'd prefer that we play a SEC team in NC game though; just see it as an ideal opportunity to get this SEC bias out of the way. Plus it would be a great game watching our defense take on one of those teams.

While crushing SC would be nice, a one-point win will suffice.

So ESPN just mentioned the fact the Ohio St still has a chance to claim an AP title. I'm sorry but if you have sanctions of that magnitude (Bowl ban, no conference title, and reduced scholarships) your school should not be allowed to win ANY title that year.

They're 4th in the AP poll.

So I'd say there's no chance of them splitting a title with us.

I love how this thread is basically 200+ pages of endless hair pulling, speculation, teeth gnashing, etc. for nothing haha. We are in the most beautiful position in all of college football: complete control of our own destiny. If we don't get into the NCG we will have no one to blame but ourselves.

They're #4 in the coaches poll and #4 in the Harris Poll, but #8 in the BCS rankings. They need to start playing some real teams from other conferences and/or get out of the ACC.

I mean they do play Florida annually. They had WVU on the schedule this year as well. But WVU pulled out because they were joining a new conference and wanted to ease up the start to the schedule.. That is where Savannah State came into play for their big payday to get beat 55-0

Also, they just got out of home and home series with Oklahoma in (10,11)...so in my opinion they kind of get a bad wrap.
