We also got 1 vote in the AP. Close the gap slightly on both Oregon and KSU in this poll.

ND is a good team but not a great. Oregon can out score any all day long. ND Would be a good game Because it is pretty much the same team.

In the AP two voters had ND #2 and two had ND #4.

Murphy, Ark Gazette had ALA ahead of ND. Vingle of Charleston, WV has OSU at#3. Both ranked ND lower all season.

What the **** is up with the AP voting AL #4, one spot ahead of Georgia? Voters were paid off after the game to make sure Bama stayed in the NCG discussion, despite the fact that they are the very definition of a paper tiger.

SEC Competition that Bama has played, through yesterday: 43-37, 21-33 in the SEC!! That includes Aggies, Tigers and Bulldogs records. They are the most overrated SEC team and that is saying something.

Oregon gave up 34 points against Arkansas State?! Fresno State put up 25 points against them? Not to mention look at that schedule. That is so ****ing weak. I don't deny Oregon's offense is sweet but their schedule is a straight up joke.

It's a joke. #1 and 2 in all the computer polls.
ND is getting hurt because of ND haters and that is it. Hands down deserve the #1 ranking and definitely nothing less than the #2. Oh well, it will work out by years end. If we win out, we will get that #1 spot by the end of the year.

It just sucks that there is still so much negative bias towards ND. Take your heart out of it and ND is #1 or #2 for every single voter.

Oregon was beating Arky State 50-3 BEFORE halftime. I wouldn't get too excited about them giving up 34 points in that game.

Bama at 4th seems fine to me. UGA could be ahead of them, but the SEC title game will correct that error.

Bama lost at home. I would put them behind Georgia for sure and OSU if you include them, though personally I wouldn't. What have you done for me lately doesn't apply to Bama I guess.

That's how I see it. I also think UGA has more talent than Bama besides on the offensive line and maybe RB. If UGA comes to play it should be a great game.

I really feel that if we take care of business and win out, somebody is gonna lose ahead of us...I have to believe Oregon will slip up against Stan,Or. St, or UCLA/USC...Also, with as much crap as we talked about Texas early on in the year, I think they are gonna live to play spoiler at the end of the year against KSU

The whole purpose of the BCS NC game is to put the two best team against each other. While most would have liked to see LSU vs ok st the BCS got it right. Alabama and LSU were the two best football teams last year. All ok st had to do was beat Iowa state and they couldn't do that.

I can see why some ND fans are frustrated right now but the season isn't over. All three undefeated teams have games remaining which they could lose. These things tend to work themselves out in the end.

I think its absurd to say that the point of the game is to match up the two best teams. What if Alabama last year had played 12 FCS teams, they would still have been the best (ignore OSU for the moment) yet would have not played anyone. Are you ok with that? The "best" is so subjective that it should be ditched entirely. We don't want the two "best" teams in the game we want the two most deserving teams.
