Oregon now up 52-17 on Cal with over 10 minutes remaining. Expected coming into the game, but disappointing given how this game started. Can't imagine that Oregon won't be #1 in both human polls.

I thought Cal was going to keep it close like last season. This got ugly in a hurry.

I really have a tough time seeing Oregon or KSU losing. Texas is the only test left for KSU and they're not that good.

Oregon has to play OSU and Stanford. They also still have the PAC12 championship game if they win those two.

Good question. We may get more love than Oregon and KSU just because we we're not in a conference. I'm sure the SEC is devastated that it can't claim another championship (even though it may try). At least ND means it's not another conference taking their thunder.

but they will...they still feel like the sec is the nfl and the rest of college football is not better than division II...maybe the likes of espn jumping off their bandwagon will level the playing field some

Oregon has 3 games left Stanford, Oregon State, and probably USC in the PAC 12 Championship.

Kansas State threat is Texas.

Our threat USC. We have to take care of business or it won't matter. I believe we can!

In Sagarin's Predictor Model which includes MOV ND is #5 behind Ala, KSU, ORE, and ... A&M.

In a bowl this week, ND would be a push with UF, a 1 pt dog with A&M, 2 pt dog to KSU and ORE, and a 7 pt dog to ALA.

It also must not calculate wins and losses either because there's no way in hell TAMU is ahead of us in the rankings. That's absurd.

Once again.

Sagarin has several football computer models. The BCS contracted with him many years ago and THEY chose the ELO_Chess Model and required him to remove Margin Of Victory leaving Wins, Losses, and Strength of Schedule. Sagarin has publicly complained about their directive but recognizes he's a consultant and they are the client. In the ELO_Chess Model ND is ranked #1 and A&M is #10 NOT ranked ahead as you posted.

Sagarin's considers his Predictor Model the most accurate of his football computer program and the one that the BCS should be using. It includes Wins, Losses, MOV, and SOS. In that model which the BCS does NOT use A&M is slightly above ND.

As said above (multiple times) that is the MOV predictor. Not used by the BCS. The one the BCS uses (thankfully) has ND 1, KSU 2, Florida 3, Georgia 4, Oregon 5, LSU 6, OU 7, USCarolina 8, BAMA 9, AM 10.

What the **** is up with the AP voting AL #4, one spot ahead of Georgia? Voters were paid off after the game to make sure Bama stayed in the NCG discussion, despite the fact that they are the very definition of a paper tiger.

SEC Competition that Bama has played, through yesterday: 43-37, 21-33 in the SEC!! That includes Aggies, Tigers and Bulldogs records. They are the most overrated SEC team and that is saying something.

I don't see how anyone could have them lower than 3rd...Ridiculous when you think about it
