Coming into work yesterday they played a clip of a call of a fan calling into a bama station and he sounded about 50ish.... he went on and on and on about how nothing is more important that bama, not his wife, not his kids and how he no longer wants to live in a world where such a thing could happen...
lol
you just got three out of four douche bag... grow up.
I have said many times in the past (yes bishop, long before last year) I just cannot stomach the large minority of lunatic fans in that base... it's just completely other level.
I can't stomach Finebaum. Has anyone listened to him since Saturday? I know it was only a loss to an SEC team but I am sure he is up in arms that AL won't get their 4th NC in a row.
You should check out Clay Travis' rankings of the "10 dumbest fan bases". Pretty good stuff about each team.
I have seen it and agree with a lot of it (from those i know about, I haven't really encountered UK fans)... even the ND write up was fair when considering our fringe... but the "7th in the SEC thing" people love to drop is just stupid![]()
Was that the thing he wrote after like week 3 where he had Vandy ahead of Ohio State?
James Franklin ranked VANDY ahead of ND, along with six other SEC schools at the end of the regular season last year, so....
ESPN already pulling out all the stops:

What a freakin joke. I seriously cant even watch ESPN besides Live sports events.
It should be MSU v the SEC winner in that case IMO... enough with teams that can't even win their own divison
Don't really disagree but when has the BCS ended up with the two best teams in the country playing each other? It will be hrd to watch an undefeated OSU team play for the title knowing they are probably a lower tier top 10 team overall.
Honest question: How do we know that??

The Ohio State victory guaranteed the #1 ranked Buckeyes a slot in the 2007 BCS National Championship Game where they would face the SEC Champion, #2 Florida Gators. There was a great deal of controversy as to who should face Ohio State for the championship: USC, Florida, and Michigan all sat with one loss and voters initially kept Michigan at the number two spot. The following week USC leapfrogged Michigan into the number two spot after a win over Notre Dame. USC, however, was defeated a week later by rival UCLA, again igniting the debate as to whether Michigan or Florida was most deserving to play against Ohio State. Despite an impressive Florida victory in the SEC conference championship game against Arkansas, some media analysts agreed with the BCS computers that Michigan was the best one-loss team in the nation and deserved another shot at the Buckeyes. Voters, however, refused to keep Michigan at #2, because they felt it would be unfair to give Michigan a rematch when Florida also had one loss and won their conference. The decision by the human voters in both the Coaches Poll and Harris Poll proved to be the difference in the final BCS rankings, as Florida edged Michigan by an extremely small margin, sending the Wolverines to the 2007 Rose Bowl and preventing Michigan from backing into the National Championship game.
Ohio State, after being ranked the entire 2006 season #1 went into the 2007 BCS National Championship Game as a heavy favorite. However the Buckeyes would struggle to find their offense, and would be beaten soundly by the Florida Gators, 41–14. This result started a seven-year run in which the SEC has won every BCS Championship, a streak that has yet to end. Ironically, in 2011, under a similar circumstance, the voters sent Alabama to the Championship Game despite the fact the Crimson Tide lost to LSU in the regular season match up. But Alabama shut out the Tigers 21-0.
Why SEC Isn't As Great In Football As You Think | ThePostGame
I strongly recommend everyone read this article about how "SEC superiority" is perpetuated by ESPN and the BCS. I always wondered why a Bama/LSU rematch was acceptable a few years back but a Mich/OSU NCG rematch wasn't after #1 OSU beat #2 Michigan 42-39. I would think Florida's dismantling of OSU in the championship in 2006 would be the best argument against a rematch because Florida wouldn't have gotten an opportunity had Michigan gotten a rematch because they were thought to be the second best team in the nation. Your post just shows ESPN is already at work trying to promote their cash cow.
2006 Michigan vs. Ohio State football game - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
They got it right in 2006 and in 2011. Outside of a kickoff return, the Gators outclassed OSU in every aspect of the game - proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were indeed the best team in the country then. Futhermore, OSU was beaten like a rented mule in their other title game against an SEC opponent. In 2011, Alabama was the best team in the country. Anyone who believes otherwise is simply hating. When the conference wins 7 titles in a row and they dominate their bowl games - typically going against higher conference seeds - how can one argue. The SEC earned the benefit of the doubt because they have proved it against the best teams in the country - year after year.
A rematch of Bama Auburn won't happen for the BCS title this year unless both Fla State and OSU lose and the chances of that happening is slim. Wouldn't mind getting a shot again at the Tigers in a BCS bowl game though. It would cause the Barner fans to faint.
Many thought OSU was the clear cut #1 in 2006 and UM was clear #2. Bama shouldn't have gotten that chance as they already lost to LSU. How do you know Oklahoma State or Stanford wouldn't have manhandled LSU?
Not so sure about 2011, as they had two SEC teams in the BCS title game, just five years after people openly campaigning for rematch between MICH and OSU...and the PTB decided against it. Not saying that FLA was not a worthy titlist, but honestly, it is awfully subjective, honestly because there is no way anyone could have looked at ALA in 2008 and think they were not better than Utah...and Utah ran them off the field, or when BSU upset OKLA.
VERY easy for you to say when it is two SEC titlists, with the benefit of hindsight, as well.
