Lmao. Border Collies are pure insanity and intense

I fuckin' love 'em, such an amazing breed with endless energy to work or play. Not for everyone of course, and they can be destructive sometimes if they don't have a job or mental stimulation.
My wife just got a golden retriever earlier this summer. So we've got the border collie that is turned up to 11 at all times and super energetic even at 4 years old, then there's the golden retriever which is lazier than shit even as a puppy. Very different energies, but they somehow work well together.

Check out Home Assistant this can be built out super easy with smart light integrations and super secure. I did this to remove reliance on cloud providers and for better personal safety.

Our Husky might ignore the intruders, but my wife's German Shepherd would absolutely go full Cujo on anyone, including a grizzly, who tried to harm her or our daughter. Pretty sure he'd protect me too. I think he wakes up every day thinking, "Please, please let somebody break in. I want to do my job and eat an intruder."
