I'm always a bit baffled by siblings that just drift apart. Not had a falling out and don't want to speak, but those that just lose touch. My parents were both very close with all their siblings throughout their lives. My brother & sister and I talk almost every day. Not unusual at all for my brother and I to talk for hours when one or both of us are driving. I can't imagine not being close to both of them.

In laws can complicate things and make it harder to keep in regular communication. Sad but true.

That made me think of multiple generations of my family. From my parents who already lost all their siblings, to me and my siblings who try to stay in constant communication, to my sisters kids who can’t wait to get away from each other, and to my son who is an only child. Kind of crazy how one post can make you think of so many things.

They edited out the big laugh at the end, but it's still a classic.

[Norm MacDonald on women.]

One of my favorite Norm jokes, they really shouldn't have cut off the end when he says "Na, we don't hire women." The laughs at the end of that one were good too.

Norm was so good. He was one of those celebrities deaths that really did make me shed a tear. He was the first standup I ever saw as a kid, and I grew up watching him at the SNL desk and in movies.

I seem to remember viewing this one a year or so ago. As someone interested in metallurgy and casting this is a cool concept and creation. I've been looking at videos for years on how to create a smelter in my garage so I can melt down aluminum cans and make shit, I need to pull the trigger. That said, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that helmet!

I think it's safe to assume that if you were in any kind of unfortunate incident and were actually wearing that helmet, you really would be dead......
