I’ve been to a lot of college football stadiums and lived in over 10 states while following the sport. In all those travels, the only fan base I was more than a little annoyed by was Texas.

Warms my heart that so many are learning that UGA may be the very worst fanbase in CFB, or least in the running for it. I lived in GA for a long time, hate that program, hate those fans.
Yup, my brother in-law player right gaurd at UGA in the late 90's. He along with the rest of the fan base are just so incredibly arrogant. Even when they weren’t winning all the time.

Miami fans are a really irrational bunch aren’t they? From what I’ve seen across social media they will win 38-14, their defense is the best in country because they have a new coordinator and the secondary is full of transfers. Also, Georgia has no talent which caused Beck to play inconsistently last season, and I guess they are better at receiver now that they lost their top 4 and replaced them with transfers??

I read through their game predictions and analysis for our game on CanesInsight. Not sure why ND is even going to bother showing up. Their secondary is elite, they’re going to get non stop pressure on Carr, Carr won’t throw anything more than a dump off, Love is overrated and Beck is winning the Heisman.

I heard a rumor the Heisman trophy ceremony is going to be directly after the game.

Any opposing fan base that states Jeremiyah Love is overrated is is either uniformed or grasping for hope that he's not as dangerous as they actually know deep down inside.

The only 2 running backs I was constantly in fear of destroying us single handedly the last few decades were Reggie Bush and Lesean McCoy. ND opponents should have that fear this year or will discover it quickly.

And what’s best is they cite how he faired against good defenses (UGA/PSU/OSU) where he was nowhere near 100%.

Invest 99 is supposed to dump a ton of rain in south Florida. We will see if that comes to fruition. Would change the whole game though

It's an often-times delusional bunch. They're convinced the brand still carries the weight it did when Sean Taylor and Vince Wilfork were playing. But results matter, and they haven't won the ACC since they joined in 2004.

The Canes should be a good football team (although Cristobal, in my view, is not a good Xs and Os guy, and a much better culture head) and they'll be physical, as all Cristobal teams are. But the only thing I've heard down here about their chances is "ND doesn't play well in Hard Rock." Which is the exact reasoning the Canes laughed at Florida for using that against them to start last year (Florida fans continued to bang the drum that UF would beat the Canes handily last year because the environment at the Swamp would be too much to overcome. Oops).

Past performance does not equate to future results. ND will have a game on their hands, and Miami could certainly win, but the amount of stuff I'm hearing down here from Canes fans (who didn't see their team beat a single opponent that ended up ranked last year) is that they're going to win, and it's not going to be close.

OK then. Let's see on Sunday.

Given that we actually won the game we played at Hard Rock eight whole months ago, this is based on what? One game against Miami eight years ago, and another game against a team that isn't Miami 13 years ago?

This isn't a game we can lose and expect to be turning the corner as an elite program.
You don't think losing to a top ten Miami team on the road with a QB who has never thrown a pass could be more respectable than losing to Northern Illinois at home? Interesting. Anyway, ND's mash unit finished the second best team in the nation last year. There will not be any corner turning because they're already there.
