Yup. Not winning a recruiting battle doesn't necessarily mean someone "dropped the ball."
Similarly, we didn't recruit Dwight Williams because we got guys we like better at ILB. Period. I wouldn't trade a single linebacker we have for him, not even Yeargin or Martini.

Me too man. Why can't a kid simply say I will further my education at...or I will be playing for XYZ? I'm a little old school with stuff like this but taking my talents to XYZ sounds like somebody needs to be humbled a little bit...maybe a lot.

He is far and away the best in this class, but I think last year's were better overall. This year's #2-15 don't seem to have much separation from what I've seen of the all star games and camps. I like Blake a lot but I think it's hard to already say he is better than Allen.
