Has anyone in the history of every liked a shirt? I've never seen it
They kind of blur in crappy mediocrity over time. But looking back, 2002, 2004 and 2010 didn't totally suck. Of note, those were all green, with relatively simple designs on the back.

To me the biggest improvement was when they started selling them in various sizes, not just extra large. As a smaller guy, that was absurd, even if we all wore baggier shirts in the late 90s. (to say nothing of girls for whom The Shirt was basically a dress).

So I went through the link and I think the ‘95, ‘02-‘04, ‘12, ‘14, and ‘20 are all solid.

I think ‘06, ‘10, ‘15 and ‘19 are all great. The retro look (‘15 and ‘19) is clearly the most timeless look that you can wear outside of game days and not look ridiculous.

‘09 was the one I was thinking of that was an abomination. Holy cow was that dreadful on every level.

This was a good one. The first one I had was around 1992 it was green and had Holtz on the back along w/ the other HOF coaches from the past in the background. It’s faded now but still a classic. The one w/ Samardzjia on the back giving a high five to Grimes was solid as well. Horrible season for ND, but the ‘99 was simple and classy.

Kind of like a mullet. Front looks good, back not so much.

Ugh, is the game only available on Peacock Premium?
I signed up for that once to watch an actual football game last year but a glorified scrimmage...

In regards to The Shirt's, I like the ones that mimic the 20's era style that was used in the South Shore Line's iconic prints.

Are some OL playing both ways? I’ve seen photo of them in green and not blue or white. There was some talk of that but never heard official.

Agreed. Most of these designs are safe and boring in their similarity.

My kingdom for a few retro Notre Dame henleys. My casual wardrobe would consist of nothing but ND gear if our designers had any vision.
