Look, if they should've been there anyway they should've had the spot going into week 1. OSU beats a top 5 team and drops a spot because a team behind them dominated an inferior team...doesn't really make sense.

I’m okay with this.. run the table with late marquee wins against CLEMSON & USC and we have a shot.

That’s likely too much to ask for this offense though.. I’m happy with 9-3, keep the recruiting class & chase a NC next year.

Beating the doors off Utah State is far less impressive than what Georgia and Ohio State did.

I think they are allowed to make adjustments after week 1. Georgia def looks better than OSU.

I could have sworn OSU just got a big win over one of the best (if not the best) teams they'll play all year. They also got an avalanche of crystal balls, which mean less than verbals, which mean nothing.

I completely agree.
However, rankings are there to just sell magazines and provide water cooler material. IMO, no rankings until week 5 at least.
But of course, with most teams early cupcake schedules, that wont say a whole lot either.
Is it me or the idea of actually giving the fans who pay the overpriced season ticket prices a game worth watching too much to ask?

I guarantee at the end of the year the OSU game will be used as a differentiator in the CFP race. Whether it's week 1 or week 2 doesn't matter, but playing the game does. I like games that matter week 1.

I expected to be 6 or 7, but thought 8 was the lowest we would drop given who we played, where we played and that it wasn't decided until the fourth. Harbaugh must have sent out gift cards to jump that much.

Its hardly ever an issue if you're a halfway good person who has a smidgen of personality and *nice*

If you walk around stink eyeing folks... theyre gonna be shitty back. No matter what gear you're wearing.


Theres obvious exceptions like Dodgers Giants or Eagles Giants or Raiders Broncos... Michigan OSU, Alabama Auburn... etc.

But if you get in a fight with ND gear on. Its probably your fault.

I've been wearing ND gear in Tennessee for decades. I never catch any grief.

The wife and I went to the game at Tennessee back in '99. Their fans were super cool before and during the game.
