Wait, another mass shooting? I’m shocked.
He was recently fired from his job.I’m sure he was disrespected and/or wronged by society. Another tragic situation that illuminates that no place is really safe, rolling the dice every time you wake up in the morning. Hopefully our esteemed lawmakers will put aside differences and finally do something new on mental health, firearms/weapons, etc. and how it ties into overall society but I doubt it.
Yep, I just heard that this morning. He was recently fired from his job.
Yep, I just heard that this morning.
Did they give a reason why?He was recently fired from his job.
I didn’t hear a reason, I just heard he was in the process of being fired…….as difficult as it is to fire someone in today’s corporate work environment, I’d guess the reasons would be clear cut and well documented.Did they give a reason why?
SMHLouisville Mayor Craig Greenberg announced that the gun used in Monday's mass shooting will be sold at auction as Kentucky law prevents law enforcement from destroying confiscated firearms, even when they're used in crimes.
Greenburg said in a press conference that all confiscated firearms not kept for official use will be sold at auction to licensed dealers. Under state law, the Kentucky State Police will conduct the auction and keep 20% of the sale proceeds for departmental use. The rest of the proceeds will be given to the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security.
TBH, I don't think this is a big deal. Not a good look as it pertains specifically to that particular weapon, but police auction off guns and other confiscated contraband all the time. I assume that KY is no different than other states in this aspect and it requires the owner to provide proper ID and the wait period when purchasing.I just saw that according to Kentucky State gun law the Ar15 used in the Louisville shooting is required to be auctioned off meaning it will be back in the street again. I assume that law applies to all guns used to commit crimes not sure though.

Former employee shoots 11 in a bank in Louisville. 5 dead 6 injured including one police officer. Had trained armed security guards.
I do a lot of auctions and you need an FFL license to purchase any guns from an auction.I just saw that according to Kentucky State gun law the Ar15 used in the Louisville shooting is required to be auctioned off meaning it will be back in the street again. I guess I wonder at how smart it is to put guns used I a crime back in circulation. Seems stupid to me.I do a lot of auctions and you need an FFL license to purchase any guns from an auction.
I guess this is where I remind you that guns don’t kill people, people do. Which is why the shooter is not going back into circulation.I guess I wonder at how smart it is to put guns used I a crime back in circulation. Seems stupid to me. H
Neither are the people he killed. To be clear I’m criticizing strictly from a LEO POV. Like why would a LEO want a gun with a serial number already associated with a crime back in circulation? I don’t know I’m not really hung up on it it just seems like the weapons used to commit crimes should be destroyed once they are of no use as evidence. Seems to me once something is officially logged as evidence in a crime it shouldn’t have the opportunity to be put back into society.I guess this is where I remind you that guns don’t kill people, people do. Seeing as you appear to have a raging hard on for me following me around every thread now I’ll answer this for you but just know its weird and kind of stalker ish. I’m just not that into you. Awkward. You demanding I specifically respond directly to you is fucking annoying as hell btw. No one else does that.cack, how can you be so passionate about gun control and not even criticize the Tennessee three for voting against the new school safety measures? The motions passed 95-4, and the Tennessee three made up 3 of the 4 No votes.
So tell me why them voting no is okay with you.

LOL. There is a frequent poster in these forums who does this regularly. You demanding I specifically respond directly to you is fucking annoying as hell btw. No one else does that.

I don’t know what they voted on. Hadn’t heard. If you mean hardening or hiring Armed guards then no I’m not sure it will be enough. School safety measures are apart of it but ultimately they will be very expensive and impossible to fully harden every school or pay for. It’s not the only thing that should happen in any event. Gun control measures must be the primary option….IMO. Again I don’t know what they voted on specifically I haven’t kept up with their legislative agenda this week. Got other things going on.
Say my name lol.LOL. There is a frequent poster in these forums who does this regularly.
A day later a quote tweet is posted….. still waiting on XYZ to respond to my challenge. If no response….3 days later another quote tweet is posted….. I’m still waiting on XYZ to respond to my challenge. I agree it is annoying as hell, but sixstar isn’t the worst offender. Faaaar from it.
We all knew who I was referring too. It may have been you.Say my name lol.
Literally do it because nobody will ask Bishop specifically, and other times other posters for any sort of support to their emotional grievances. Walmart is closing because of crime in Portland? wahhhhhhhhhh San Francisco is a crime haven and defunding police? wahhhhhhhhhhh. Literally they never have anything to support any of those claims. My bad for asking them to support any of their positions without just saying "dude trust me".
You're always welcome to help them out when they get stuck in an emotional cycle.
Oh I’m not flattered in the least. You aren’t the first and won’t be the last. 😂 Don’t assume I read every post on every thread I’m in. I don’t there are several posters I just skip entirely and that’s ok.Don't flatter yourself cack.
You accuse others of being racist without knowing all the facts. That's bold. Then when presented with the facts, you ignore them and refuse to admit you were wrong. You want to accuse others of being racist without being challenged. You don't want to provide proof when asked. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
Then you make several posts about the need to protect children from gun violence (and I agree), yet you withhold judgement on the Tennessee three saying you don't know all the facts even though you kept posting in the politics thread after I shared that article. And you seem unconcerned with their actions even though voting against increased gun safety is exactly the opposite of what you argue for in this thread.
It almost looks like your opinion is solely shaped by political lines. It's sad.
I mean, when someone routinely just posts emotional grievances that could have been 1992 Rush Limbaugh reruns without any kind of factual basis is more annoying to me personally. We all knew who I was referring too. It may have been you.
Fine if you want ask someone to defend their position. Quote tweeting another reminder days later is annoying as hell.
Do you understand that I and several others have stopped trying to converse with you about most issues because you simply refuse to answer any question presented to you, stay on topic, address the facts presented, or discuss anything honestly? The Toronto Vortex, as it's been so accurately called. We give you facts, you ignore them. We give you sources & links and you refuse to address them. We present you with irrefutable logic and facts, and you reword them into something completely different that you can more easily respond to.Say my name lol.

In my best dshans voice, please learn the difference between a part and apart. Yes, they sound alike. No, they don't mean the same thing. In fact, they mean the opposite of each other. This is about the 4th or 5th time I know of that I and others have pointed this out to you.I don’t know what they voted on. Hadn’t heard. You do all this because you're invariably on the wrong side of most issues and facts, reason, and critical thinking aren't your friend. When you get your head handed to you, as you always do when you can't spin and deflect and go all Vortex mode, then you get mad and butthurt.
Do you realize how silly it is for you to demand that anyone answer your questions or respond to your points or show you anything, given the, literally, hundreds of times you've simply changed the subject, reworded their question, dodged, obfuscated, spun, and generally whipped up yet another Toronto Vortex cyclone of spin to avoid tough questions and valid points? Answer my question about which, according to you, 100% real woman chick with a dick you find attractive and would bang. Answer my question about how, given that all the previous gun and crime laws don't stop gun violence, another set of laws will. Don't spin. Don't avoid. Don't reword the questions into something totally different and easy to answer (you know, that strawman thing you do so well). I asked those questions first. When you give a reasonable, honest, direct answer, then I'll gladly answer your questions. Go ahead. Show us you can do it.No you don't lol.
Show us where San Fran defunded the police, and where the massive crimewave is. Those should be simple enough for you to do. How about the old howler that Walmart was closing because of "crime". You can't/won't support those.
It's ok, I know the emotional culture war zone is your safe space.
IIRC the money from the sale goes back into a budget account. Most dealers don’t want a used gun unless it is in very good shape and looks like it is almost new so it’s easier to sell. Indy the guns that don’t sell get melted.Neither are the people he killed. To be clear I’m criticizing strictly from a LEO POV. It would be a bad look from a publicity side to say they were closing the Portland WalMart because of all of the theft. IIRC there were several articles that alluded to crime being the reason they closed that store. No you don't lol.
