Harbaugh pulled a scholarship two days ago to Amauri Pesek-Hickson, who had committed in November. He did not sign iin thee early signing period, needing to getting his grades up, which he did and was "good to go'.

Amauri Pesek-Hickson, a 3-star athlete from Leawood, Kansas, publicly committed to Michigan in November and had plans to sign this week on National Signing Day.

He's now pumping the brakes on that decision after Harbaugh’s request, made in-person last week, that he attend prep school for a year before joining the Wolverines in 2020.

More: Best of the Midwest: Top prep football recruit from each Big Ten state

“Because of the scholarship situation, Amauri right now is the odd man out (for 2019). He’s in, but he’s out. What that means is that he basically, to come to Michigan — and this was a conversation we had face-to-face (Wednesday) at Amauri’s basketball game with Coach Harbaugh — was that he wants to use the remaining scholarships for a grad transfer,” Pesek-Hickson’s father, Shermaine Hickson, told the Free Press.

“He wants a defensive lineman, I don’t think that’s a secret. So, instead of Amauri getting a scholarship for 2019, Michigan’s plan is to (for him to) go to prep school for a semester and then reclassify in 2020 and join Michigan for the class of 2020.

Signed with Les Miles and Andy Heck at Kansas.

Shut the fuck up, why are you glad he's eligible? So we can get our teeth kicked in even harder? Spare me with the "I want to beat them at full strength" line, because we haven't beaten them in 7 years, so I'd just like to actually beat them. I genuinely want them to have to start a walk on at QB.

Enjoyed this comment:

this pretty much sums up how the rest of college football and especially osu sees us. We think we have it worse and we are victims all the time. Take a look around guys, we bitch and moan and pout. Not one person here knows what Fields case was, I actually followed it pretty close and have looked for details multiple times to see if he or his lawyer said what it would be based on. Nothing, his lawyer said the racial incident is not the only or the sum of the reasons why he asked to leave, that it was a lot more. So how the fuck do we know Shea had a stronger case? because we wanted him? gtfoh with this victim mentality, I'm not of the party that wants to beat them at full strength, just want to beat them, but this whole whaa whaaa whaaaa this isn't fair, They like ohio state better and they cheat too, We need to grow some fucking balls around here and quit blaming ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that doesn't go our way on "bagmen" "cheating" or some mythical reasoning that the NCAA has it in for us but not O State. Patterson's case was ACTUALLY pretty fucking weak if you knew anything about it and shocked A LOT of people that HE not some of the other players got immediate eligibility. Ole Miss and MIss St. both have been in a dual for who can pay more $$$ to get players and there are documentaries about it soooo did Shea take some cashola or was he the moral fiber (only one apparently) that ran thru the program?

Sorry to piss on your post but I'm pretty tired of us blaming everything in the college football world that doesn't go our way on elusive bagmen or cheating and we are standing on some moral high. JFC we need to just say good for them, we control what we can control and that's it.

He sounds like one of the very few scUM fans I wouldn't mind having a beer with and actually having a healthy discussion about the rivalry.

They are very few and far between.

The only thing more scarce than a reasonable scUM fan in this state is an actual wolverine.

I haven't looked, but my guess is that a fair share of the responses from UM fans say something along the lines of BK killed a kid.

Bingo. Along with "How many rapes has he covered up" and the always classic "tomato head" comments.

Only because they spent about 10 years playing St. Josephine's School for Blind Girls before they came down the road to play us. We didn't win early on, but we snapped their 4 year long streak of being unscored on. When we finally got a coach and started calling ourselves the Fighting Irish, we beat scUM and they then refused to play us for 33 years.
