Really? How many yards did he rush for? He is more mobile than Tommy of course, but I see him as a QB that can extend plays more than a QB that can be a serious run threat in a spread offense.
Rushed for:
51 against Miami (almost all in the first half as he wasn't asked to do much in the 2nd)
41 before getting hurt against Stanford
64 and a TD against Oklahoma
74 and a TD against Pitt
40 and a TD against BC
47 against USC
Keep in mind, this is all while he is still 1) learning the offense 2) small enough that BK rarely designed pure runs for him (can only remember BK doing it against Oklahoma and Miami to augment the run game) to keep him from getting hit a lot. Now that he has bulked up, I expect him to handle runs and the accompanying hits even more.
Further, even though he is definitely a pass first QB, just because he doesn't run as much as other dual threats doesn't mean he CAN'T do it, or isn't a Dual Threat QB. Sorry, but anyone that says Golson isn't Dual Threat or doesn't have the skillset to exceed in the spread is just plain wrong IMO.
