Not a fan of the call. Go for two against someone else, not your biggest rival.

There was only 30 seconds left in the game and OSU didn't have any time outs. Going for 2 was stupid.

I'm listening to this on the radio coming back from South Bend. I wish I would have recorded this game. It was a classic.

That was one of the most entertaining games I've ever seen. Love the decision to go for 2 but hate the play call.

no, I would have kicked it and taken my chances. I wouldn't want the game to come to one play when my QB can't run.

That was the worst case scenario for me. I wanted Michigan embarrassment or OSU loss. Although the close defeat may make the Skunkbear tears taste even sweeter.

1. They've had a terrible season
2. They couldn't stop OSU
3. Normal kicker was hurt and replacement almost missed one or two of the other extra points
4. You score, you win.

absolutely...plus if you don't think you can get 3 yards in one play you don't deserve to win

They have all the momentum if it goes to overtime. Dumb call IMO.

No they didn't. Ohio State was shredding them.

Michigan had absolutely no answer for Ohio State's running game, whereas Michigan was reliant on perfect execution passing the ball. In overtime, the run game is favored.

Easy call to go for two. I liked the whole setup, but a lead QB draw out of it would've been perfect. Michigan obviously thought that Ohio State was going to blitz though. It's a tough situation to be in, but nobody can question Michigan's ball there though.

You put it on the shoulders of your gimpy QB that is TO prone. It took several tries to score every time you were on the goal line today. You have as good, or greater, of a chance to win taking it to OT as you did going for 2. I understand your points, and they are all valid, but the W seemed more likely kicking the PAT than going for 2.

This doesn't change in OT

The decision to go aside, Gardner's pass wasn't even in the end zone and the guy was double covered.....

1. The call to go for 2 was a good one IMO

2. The play call (not rolling DG out) was a bad one IMO

*Gimpy or not gimpy, roll his ass out

No, but you'll most likely get more than one play in in OT, you took that away with a bad playcall to end the game.

Thats the other thing. You put no WR on the other side or even send anyone out that way. You allow the D to crowd one side and wait for you to throw. The play call seemed bad itself.

But in OT you can do other things that make it less of a burden on your QB; to ride the game on one play, when your QB can't run.....I don't know. I'd rather live to keep playing. I'm at home, got the crowd, and OSU's defense, over the course of a drive, sucks. I would have kicked.

I agree with that. That play call is worthless

Good call, didn't see that. Bad decision by Gardner then. Funchess has great hands and is tall. You throw to him single covered to a jump ball before you throw it in the middle of 4 defenders.
