What are you talking about? We had a TON of pressure on that group. Gardner just played out of his mind that night. Think about how many times Gardner threw an unbelievable pass for a first down right as he was either about to get lit up or was going down on a sack.

Our secondary cost us that game, not the DL. We were in Gardner's face all night.

This. Could not cover Jeremy Gallon at all. And safeties struggled a bit with Funchess too at key moments.

Dwight Hicks who is a good friend even though he was a Michigan captain told me he isn't sure Brady Hoke is the answer. Dwight has two Super Bowl rings with the 49ers has a off the charts football IQ, so I was shocked when he said this last week.

I don't believe in neg reps, but I'm sorry that is about as deserving as any comment I've ever read. Once you wear the jersey, your ND fan card should be revoked.

True, which is why I think that we could have had the same record after ten games as last year and I would still think we were not as good as last year's team.

Now THAT would be the best two year run for NDFB since 88-89 when ND went 24-1 under Lou. I would be TOTALLY satisfied with that....even if we lost a BCS bowl game.

Was just about to post something along these lines. Michigan is without a doubt the luckiest team in college football, year in and year out.

Being friends with them is ONE thing....but I would never EVER go that far.
