Yep. Strong parents night out anthem music. (I say as a mid thirties parent.)
back in 2002 i remember going to a U2 gig and feeling they were Dad Rock to the core, now the Killers are totally in that space. They put on a great show tbf and they have tons of singalong bangers (much like Oasis, New Order which are their inspirations)

and maybe its just not a preferred genre of music either and im the outlier:D

You're not alone. I think it's shit, and thought it was shit before I knew Michigan played it or what the context of the lyrics were

The day the music died wasn't when Don McLean sang about American Pie, it was November 16th 1999 when the last great album was released. Nothing after 1999 is any good.

I won’t take this slander of Blink 182.

Great example, Blink 182 peaked with Enema of the State in 1999. Take Off Your Pants and Jacket didn't sell as many copies and had no hits close to the popularity of What's My Age Again?, All the Small Things, and Adam's Song.

Hopefully Marcus is still here and Michigan is crap when we meet again. I remember when they asked BK back in like...2016 what he thought about the future series with OSU in '22 and '23. He said something like "We'll see who is coaching either team by then." Oddly prophetic, Urban had to retire for "health reasons" again and BK bolted in strange fashion just before the meeting.

Thought that quote was in reference to A&M

I think he referenced it for both at different points. They were both announced back around 2014 and were scheduled for 8-10 years out hence Kelly's reply. I can't find the OSU comment yet, but yeah he definitely said it about the A&M series. I remember he said something similar for the OSU series around 2014 though because I thought "There's no way both Urban Meyer and Kelly won't be at OSU and ND in 2022, they're two of the top coaches today!"

Here was the comment about the A&M series. Kelly didn't say anything about A&M's coach still being there at the time, just that Kelly would be gone sippin' Mai Tai's. The OSU comment was something along the lines of "We'll see who is still coaching both teams 8 years from now."

Interesting “smoking gun” type chart basically saying almost every Michigan draft pick from the championship team has been a bust so far proves the cheating. I think there is a kernel of truth there but it was also just a very old team. Some of the round reaches are crazy for sure though. If almost all of them were pushed back a round it wouldn’t look as bad

Yeah and some of it isn’t fair. As much as I don’t want JJ to succeed, he missed his rookie year and a huge chunk of this year. It’s not a good start but it’s too early. Plus I think Zinter got hurt in the playoff run? Idk if he ever recovered.

JJ is still the youngest starting QB in the League and has made 4 career starts. In his first two he was missing multiple starting linemen and didn't have Jordan Addison, the WR2. Not saying that JJ is going to turn out to be an All Pro, but there's no way you can call him a bust in good faith right now. Especially since QB play all around the NFL has been ASS for like 3-4 years in a row. Jordan Love can look like it's the first time he's ever touched a football at times and he's in his 5th or 6th season.

High 4 star DE won’t sign till tomorrow either cause he’s considering South Carolina. Who is the OL that might flip to Texas??
