"Here is the truth: While at the University of Florida, and now at The Ohio State University, I have always followed proper reporting protocols and procedures when I have learned of an incident involving a student-athlete, coach or member of our staff by elevating the issues to the proper channels. And, I did so regarding the Zach Smith incident in 2015. I take that responsibility very seriously and any suggestion to the contrary is simply false.
So I think that he thinks that he shouldn't have been suspended
Jesus, here is a portion of his statement after he got caught lying at media day...
You did? You followed proper reporting protocols "regarding the Zach Smith incident in 2015"? Sounds like Smith told him, and then it died.
So, if I'm getting this correctly, he lied at media day, then he lied on his follow up statement?
How are they not playing Benny Hill music in the background while this is going on....
Total avoidance by Urban saying if he disagreed with the suspension. “I trust and believe in our president”
Correct. He lied about lying. Somehow I think this is going to go over outside of Columbus like a turd in a fish bowl.

Yea, so Gene Smith never knew of 2009? Did I hear that right? Even after going to Urban in 2015 and telling him what's he's heard, it wasn't mentioned to him then?
Edit: I'd turn this off now, but I'm looking for Trevor Matich going postal (I fully expect he will) on ESPN2.
Btw Notre Dame's Running back (Dexter Williams) is suspended 4 games for weed
