Before we think Urban cracked a whip here, all he lost was Summer financial aid. Which means the coaches will just have some staffer throw him a couple hundred bucks.

If that's the case I revoke my previous comment. I should've read in to it more. So now instead of playing school for the summer he will head home, get in trouble, and never return. Meanwhile Jones will enter the draft and OSU will have no QB next year.

Out of state tuition per credit hour is roughly $660 for out of state kids. Most summer schools are broken up into two halves. If he would take two classes each session, that would mean each session would cost him approximately $4K before factoring in room and board, books, etc as well as any other forms of financial aid. IF this was a revoke for one summer session, the penalty is not quite as severe as we are lead to believe. If it was for the entire Spring semester, that is another story.

Yeah. Summer is a different story. I actually think revoking it for a semester would be too harsh. But this one doesn't probably mean much. Especially if he doesn't intend to get a degree anyway.

Agree. I wonder how much Urbie is doing this just to deflect criticism from how he handled his players while at UF? He might be finding that media and public scrutiny is a long stronger up here than in the SEC where no one says anything to avoid having themselves called out?

I don't think many coaches in the SEC care about being called out. Saban sit Geno for damn near an entire year for the same thing the OSU QB just got slapped on the wrist for. And I am sure Urbans leash at OSU is pretty short... considering he wrote the book on what not to do while at Fla.

Ezekiel Elliott of Ohio State Buckeyes points finger at coaching staff after loss to Michigan State Spartans

"How we lost, I just feel like we weren't put in the right opportunity to win this game, we weren't put in the right situations to win this game," Elliott said. "I don't think Michigan State was better than us. They weren't. We didn't execute."

"Honestly, this is my last game in the Shoe," Elliott said. "I mean, there's no chance of me coming back next year.

"What happened today, it was kind of like a bad, bad dream. Offense had a rough day, and I'm disappointed. I'm disappointed in the play calling, I'm disappointed in the situations we were put in, and I wish it all played out differently."

I dont care either way but it was a puzzling game plan with no adjustments made on OSU's part.

That was the first OSU game I have watched since Virginia Tech. Is their offense always so bad? They looked awful.

I wanted EE very bad.

I think it's a nurture vs nature debate.

They made him about him at OSU.

I believe there's too much individualism there.

IMHO.

They've looked like this all year. Only against weaker teams. They were given a total pass based on last year.

they were terrible all year and very boring to watch. Bosa is completely overrated and gets a bunch of TFL's because they stunt him inside on a huge amount of plays and then give up outside runs all the time. Dude has like 4 sacks all year which is ridiculous for a supposed top 10 NFL pick playing against crappy B1G Teams. 2nd year in a row MSU (Conklin mainly) shut him down.

My Facebook page today is pure gold. People are calling for Urban to hire an OC that will take control of the offense and get it out of his hands. I am loving it - except that it reminds me too much of our own fanbase...

How long before Urban hires Sanford away from us. Had italics. Removed them.
