Looks like the poster is from Chattanooga. As someone who live close by, I'm not at all surprised.

I have to admit this is pure comic gold and the guy appears to be a blithering idiot. So much so, that I wonder how real this is and if it isn't a troll job or done for comic effect.

Went to the Bama/Mercer game on Saturday. My wife went there for her first two years before we met. She finished at a school here in Tennessee (I refused to move to Alabama).

Anyway, had good seats and the family had fun. I can't believe the amount of times I heard "Roll Tide". It's like people use it there for everything. Person sneezes, "Roll Tide". Someone opens the door for you, "Roll Tide". You have sex with your sister, "Roll Tide". Crazy.

I also never want to hear anyone complain about ND only playing 12 games. I'm not sure what I watched but in no way would I consider it a competition. Maybe an exhibition? They really could have scored 100 on them, easily. Of course part of it is how good Bama is but no reason for a top 5 team to play a 5-7 FCS squad.

Josh Jobe, CB, committed to Alabama, who now three h.s. CBs in the top 20 and the top ranked CC CB.

2018 Top Cornerback H.S. Recruits
Top Cornerback JC recruits

Alabama did not sign any CB recruits last year. Starting CBs, Anthony Averett and Levi Wallace, will graduate.

Miami has three CB commits, ranked by 247 as 10th, 22nd, and 34th with Tyson Campbell, 3rd ranked, (Fort Lauderdale) favoring Miami. His H.S. teammate, Patrick Surtain, Jr, ranked 1st, has named LSU his favorite. ND did not offer any of those except Surtain.

Alabama can only sign 22 recruits because three 2017 signees - Hunter Brannon, Joseph Bulovas and Jarez Parks - had their enrollment delayed and will count against the 2018 class.

Alabama schools using 'blueshirt' method to bolster recruiting classes

Bama has fifteen verbals for the 2018 class though a Punter and TE, ranked 43rd and who resides in Alabama, may not end up on scholarship.

Bama loses fourteen players who run out of eligibility. Two players - Fitzpatrick and Ridley - are expected to declare for the draft early.

Jobe is a huge pick-up. Great athlete and DB. I think he might just be the #1 DB in this class. I'll bet he's a day one starter for them.

Alabama is also among the leaders for Isaac Taylor-Stuart, ranked #2 CB. USC may be the team to beat.

I'll bet he goes to USC. They typically don't lose 5* DB's in their own backyard that they go all-out for to out of state programs. They lose ones here and there to UCLA though.

The one thing that gets overlooked when complaining about Bama playing 3 cupcakes is they only play 4 games every year at an opponents stadium. Never 5, never 6. Always four. And Auburn and LSU are engineered so that one is a home game while the other is away.

Even year road games:
aTM
MSU
Aub
Tenn

Odd year road games:
Ole Miss
Ark
LSU
SEC-E team not named Florida

Bama hasn't played @ Florida since getting beat in 2006. Instead they get spoon fed @ UT-K every other year.

The other game played outside of Tuscaloosa is played in the south at an NFL stadium vs either an inferior team or a team not from the south. The exception to this was this year vs a very un-FSU like Seminoles team.

And some of you guys called me crazy for saying Stanford should be dropped for SMU/Rice and Purdue should replace MSU/Mich.

Interesting match-ups are what the CFP is for.

Yeah but they never get to do any cool, alternative uniforms like we do. They need to quit being so focused on winning championships and embrace their own version of the Shamrock Series.

The on the field product speaks for itself-but I have said this many times to friends-what the University of Alabama has been allowed to do (with this coach as its instrument) is the single most detrimental thing that has happened to college football in the last 25 years. Its not jealousy its not I wish my school was successful like that-no- it comes down to is this good for college football and my answer is no. When teams are pretty much out of the championship picture before the season starts because they choose to keep college in college football to whatever extent mild or strong something is wrong. I ask you what chance do these blueblood college football teams have to make the championship picture such as usc/msu/notre dame/mich/nebraska/iowa/penn state/washington/okls state/stanford/ucla/tenn/texas/wisconsin even miami-should I go on? Next year there are 6/7 teams that will fill the bill for the championship finals-4 sec schools/ohio state/okla/Clemson/and one wild card entrant such as Washington or Mich State a few years ago. Even a win at all cost program like fla state hasn't much of a chance and they are really trying to win at all cost. Saban and Alabama have done that with their entrance requirements-what is expected of you academically once your in and whatever is done behind the scenes that we know nothing about. I for one don't like what I see and if it smells like a garbage pile it probably is. All you have to do is tune into the media to get the idea-they say this guy is the most powerful man in college football and in the south they speak of him like he was the embodiment of southern culture-you tell me if this isn't a sad mess. He's merely a very good football coach that has been allowed by his employer to win at all cost.

What makes this Alabama quarterback recruiting cycle different

Brevin White, committed to Princeton, has decided to attend Princeton despite an Alabama offer and an official visit to T-Town.

“I just wanted to stick with my heart. I wanted to lay out what’s important to me and what school offers me the best opportunity to achieve goals on and off field. Alabama is a great school and a great opportunity, but Princeton checks more boxes.”

Alabama is still pursuing James Foster of Montgomery and Brock Purdy of Gilbert, Ariz. It would also be difficult to call the Tide the favorite to land either, too.

Tanner McKee has visited Alabama, but seems to be favoring Stanford or BYU and will take his 2 yr mission. Of others who made Official Visits.
Matt Corral chose Ole Miss.
Emory Jones chose Florida.
Justin Fields chose Georgia.
Jack West, from Alabama, chose Stanford. Did not take OV to Bama.

Hopefully they don't get Purdy because Brock Purdy is the best QB you've never heard of.

If there was no Phil J, he would have been on my short list for ND. He's Book or McNamara pkg sized with Phil J plus production, against top class AZ programs.

He's at A&M this weekend.

Tosh Lupoi named Alabama DC. Saban turns over both coordinators again, but promotes from within.

James Foster, QB, picks Texas A&M. Does Alabama whiff on QBs this cycle?

Alabama's QB offers for 2019 include Taulia Tagovailoa, brother of Tua, who played HS in Alabama last year.

Quay Walker, four star LB from Georgia, as expected flips from Alabama to Georgia.
