Was away. Now returned.
Actually drove through SC from the coast all the way to Lake Murray via Columbia and barely saw any Clemson stickers on cars, yard signs or flags anywhere. Its like they dont exist as an entity
Funny. I see Clemson stickers all the time on cars in suburban Boston.

They come out in full force when Clemson is competing for a national championship. You also have to be in the Upstate. If you're around Columbia, you won't see much Clemson stuff.

Wait till those ACC schools find out the only way they survive in the next iteration of CFB is to simply be used for losses and fill out a schedule.
The Nard Dog and Dave Doeren probably don't realize how little their programs matter if the Noles, Tar Heels, and Hurricanes all bolt for greener pastures. I can't even remember the other ND haters in the ACC

Let’s follow the timeline here:

- 12 team playoff
- USC wants out
- 24 team playoff gains steam
- USC has interest in renewing series
- Mediocre ACC coaches now whining

ESPN and SEC signed their original market-setting deal in 2008 where each school stood to make ~$15 million per year. Two years later the ACC's deal with ESPN netted them around $13 million per school per year. This is was also during the FSU/Clemson's title winning stretch. There was a ton of belief that the ACC was on an ascending path, just slightly behind the SEC and B1G. I'm sure that was Swarbrick's impression when we signed our deal in 2013. But most ACC schools did what with the money? Because they certainly didn't invest in football (outside of Clemson, FSU and Miami). It's the reason the league is going to die, that our schedule sucks and that Clemson and FSU want out. But sure, say that we're the unwanted house guest. That'll make up for it.

The comment also is nonsensical because:
1. ACC teams sell out their stadiums when ND plays at them; and 2. ACC teams now benefit from conference payouts based on their TV ratings, which are much higher when they play ND.

When they lose to ND, it doesn't affect their conference loss record, either.

If the ACC schools think that they don't benefit from their arrangement with ND, why don't they just end it already?

Also, what is McMurphy's problem with ND?

Fuck Brett McMurphy. His anti-ND bias is impossible to ignore. He's just a sad little Oklahoma State fan and that's really all you need to know about him.
