Good, emotional with it being senior day.

Agreed, it was a good one. Brought my lady to tears, lol. Very cool how many games these seniors have won. Obviously with help from a pretty killer junior class but nonetheless some really good ball players in that senior group.

as a coach, I've always thought that the way the underclassmen compete says a lot about their feelings toward the upperclassmen

pretty good statement to how much this senior class is respected by their peers.

C'mon, be honest. You welled up a little too, didn't you?

Thought it was great...as usual. Anyone else notice they were breaking in the shamrock series cleats at practice?

For some dumb reason I watched the Navy week episode because I had missed it before, and reliving all of the missed opportunities from the Clemson game was brutal. I want that rematch so so so badly.

or yet? I don't feel like paying for another month since next week is the season finale..

Two more episodes, right?

Anything else think the series gets extended an episode or two if ND makes the playoffs? IIRC, Swarbrick said something a while back that kept this option open.

If we make the playoffs, they almost have to make a 1-2 hour finale.

Didn't really watch game, was there really not a better tackle they could have used for Schmidt moment lol? A missed tackle and sorta fall on guys legs as he's basically down.

Really glad they focused on the seniors.... We whine and complain and gruff about things but that class has won a whole lot of games for us.. This wasn't a one year team... They were consistently good, with two years of dominance... Great way to honor them

Alright, who's cutting onions at my desk?

Great episode. Love seeing the seniors and their gratitude for their parents and families.

i kind of wish the series included more of the players rather than focusing on the same 6 or 7. I think at this stage we are all aware of what Joe Schmidt is like and how Sheldon's momma is. Its like watching a football movie where's there is a team of 50 guys and they only focus on a handful of the players and their motivations etc.

I mean... there is an incredibly practical and rationale reason why they focus on the guys they do. And while there are a couple "central" guys at least 2 dozen players have talked on camera.

Really loved the scene of all the seniors "breaking bread" and talking about how they needed to leave their impact

That episode was out-freaking-standing.... Especially like Sheldon and "Terry Jillary's" talk about the future at the end. Those are two unique individuals. :)

So is there an episode this week? Doesn't really make sense to end it before the last game and probably the most emotional episode they will have. Plus doesn't NFL films usually do a behind the scenes for the Shamrock Series games for Onward Notre Dame? It would make more sense to take this week off and then come back for next week and show Stanford week.

Just curious why you think there wouldn't be. The season isn't over and you can see the crew on the sidelines during the game.
