I think Chalky White from Boardwalk Empire narrated it. Good stuff.
I never knew Bobby Howard was best friends growing up with Randy. Loved Little Bobby Howard.

The shame that this ESPN broadcast brings to light is the racial sourness that still exists to this day. Just look at Obama.
They mentioned that no one had ever got their probation revoked for a first failed drug test,,,,, until Moss. If that's true, IMO he did get screwed. Not sure if it was racism, or the fact he spurned WVU (didn't even visit). He was wrong for smoking weed on probation (more stupid than anything else), and wrong for not even visiting WVU, but that's not enough "bad" for me to revoke.
I had know idea his mom was so strict, and no idea he grew up in the church. sad stuff about the town, and history of HS athletes in general. Howard seems to have turned out to be a real, first class guy.
I disagree. I don't think he was wrong at all for not visiting West Virginia. He wasn't interested in them, so why waste his and everyone else's time.

Waste of time maybe, but even a courtesy unofficial would have been nice. The fact that his mother let him only take 3 of the NCAA 5 visits gives him a pass to an extent. Not sure why his mom wanted to limit the visits though.
Not sure where you are from. Almost doesn't matter unless you're talking about West by God Virginia. The Appalachia way is different. For me to go into a history would be too much, only because you can look for yourself. My wife was born and raised a bit south of the northern panhandle along the Ohio River. I can speak out of first hand experience.

I'm aware of the history of WV, V, and the term West by God Virginia. Not sure I understand what you are trying to say?

Yeah I'm confused on what you're trying to say too.
There are a few programs in the country where you need to take the visit if you are an in state kid that everybody wants to go to Homestate U. Programs like, Inidana Basketball, Nebraska Football, Kentucky Basketball, West Virginia Football. I know a Mr. Basketball from Indiana that never said a nice thing about IU and went to Ohio State... I haven't heard a nice word about him since then. Your name is mud in Indiana and Kentucky when that happens. Social media has made it worse. Take the visit, take an unofficial because it's close. It's not worth the drama caused by the perceived dis to the home state fanatics.
.
If my son were blessed with the natural talent his father lacks, he would not be allowed to consider Kentucky basketball. I don't mean he wouldn't be allowed to go. I mean, he wouldn't be allowed to think about it until the one-and-done concept is gone. The locals be damned (that's true regardless of where I live).

Greg Oden or Deshaun Thomas? Or possibly Charles Macon from the early '90s?
I'm guessing Deshaun since Greg was one and done.
