This may have already been brought up but I was just thinking about who was on staff when Sr was in school and sure enough, Mike Denbrock was there too, coaching OT/TE for Willingham.

Would love to listen to that conversation, reminiscing and turning the attention to Jr.

I feel like every year we've gotten more skilled WR's- Fields last year in the portal, Porter/Graham in the portal & some freshman for this year, and I like our chances with JJ Jr.

JJ Jr. reminds me of another Golden Tate.

Side note- it's crazy to me that someone would coach both OTs and TEs. That might've been more common back then, but I don't think that would happen these days.

Glad to hear this is trending in a positive direction, always huge to secure a legacy, especially one as highly touted as J3.

You just never know in the NIL era where these recruits are going to land, but this is one it felt like we had to have.

Matt Freeman hasn't said he's overrated but said something along the lines of ND fans are so excited because he's a legacy moreso than his skill.

I disagree, I see a mix of Golden Tate and Amanra St Brown.

ISD still has him rated a 93 instead of the national average being a 92. I am of the opinion he is properly rated.

Or people are getting caught up that he’s a legacy and are overlooking the skill
