At least you didn't say Cierre...Wake me up at Armando Allen Jr
You had more years on Earth than the 2003 team had wins.Julius Jones is the first player I can remember as a kid growing up. I was 6 in 2003, probably just watching with my family having no idea what was going on, but if someone was talking about Julius Jones then something good was happening for our irish.
I was spoiled enough to have my first memories be of the 2005 team (although the first game I remember vividly was the USC game). I was already 9 at that point though, which begs the question, what was my father doing slacking like that? At least you were alive. I was born in April of 89 and my narcissistic ass believes I’m the reason we haven’t won since…Lot of young bucks on this here webpage. Then there’s those of us born in the time of the championship in ‘88, but our first real memories were the end of Lou’s era and the beginning of the Davie “era.” The pain of having been technically alive for the last natty, but not being able to remember it is bullshit.

Julius Jones was a very good player on some mediocre teams and was always part of a two or three headed monster backfield. It was him and Ryan Grant I believe?
Even with that and missing a year for academics, he still put up serious numbers at Notre Dame.

I can still remember the Ara years and the lean years until Lou arrived when he finally got us back to the mountain top. I guess I'm fortunate that I've been able to experience those championships, but it hasn't diminished my desire to experience one more before I punch the time clock one last time. 66, 73, 77, 88 & 93.Lot of young bucks on this here webpage.
