Premer > Fryzel > Jacobson imo. I just think Jacobson is too slow to Be an impact player.

I got the impression Jacobson is viewed on more of an inline blocking threat so his speed may not be a big issue but I’d certainly agree with your rankings.

I'm feeling they would've really pushed for Jacobson to commit and or cancel his official to Iowa St if they were really wanting him over premer.... They must be feeling good about this one maybe

So we gonna take 3?
I think they would if Premer wants in. They wanted 2 in the '25 class and IMO Premer is the only plug and play prospect of the 3. Fryzel has great upside but like most will need time to get his body ready for prime time and it could take a year or two. Jacobson is very good but his game isn't a dynamic one and going to be exclusively an inline TE.

Honestly with expanded rosters there’s no reason not to take everyone that wants in unless you’ve told your recruits you’re done.

I agree with most of the sentiments here. Premer is the best of the bunch, I think you take him no matter what. I think Jacobson is being undervalued a little bit here. Jacobson is definitely more of a traditional TE, but that is why everyone wanted two. You take the more modern TE in Fryzel (or Premer) and then a traditional TE in Jacobson.

From what I understand is that they wanted to take 2 TE in '25. 1(T-TE) & 1(M-TE) But only got 1 in James Flanigan, who IMO is a stud. While he's more than just an inline TE, he's still more of traditional do it all TE rather than the new school modern TE types.

IMO Jacobson & Fryzel would be great pickups but I don't see them playing early, they need time to marinate more or less.

So because I think those 2 need time and that Premer is much more of a plug and play prospect and the fact that they wanted 2 TE in the previous class it does make sense to me to take 3 in '26 to get the 4 total that they wanted.

Come 2026 if they had a base 12 personnel you're going to have Flanagan and Flanigan ahead of Jacobson for the inline TE. As for the M-TE they've got 1 season of the unknown Ty Washington. Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised but I'm not going to hold breathe on this one. Then there's Jack Larson. I like the kid and I want him to make it and he has elite hands and route running skills however he is short and slow for the position IMO .

In this scenario Premer would have a real possibility for quality PT while giving a year for Fryzel for his body to catch up with his readymade receiving skills.

This is a better version of my post since I totally forgot Flanagan. That’s what you get when you scroll a roster with Flanagan and Flanigan.

Trieu said it’s not done but it’s trending KSU with Iowa State possible. Thinks ND and KU are unlikely

It sounds like he may commit as soon as today. And Loy, Trieu don’t know for sure what he will do but KSU is where they will put their chips

KSU will have landed the top player in Kansas for 4 straight cycles now, not counting Kansas City kids which I think are a different breed than the rest of the state. 2 five star tight ends

Minnesota and Iowa are on a similar run. Wisconsin notably has not had this success

Sucks to loose the best of the three but we (seemingly) still got a good haul

Man the Allen Lazard-type kids just kill you. I guess it's good to know that he won't be on a team that's a threat, but it makes you scratch your head.
Those kids are "enamored" with their region, guess these days we might see him in the portal after a couple of seasons.
