So we gonna take 3?Singer was positive about this one this morning
I got the impression Jacobson is viewed on more of an inline blocking threat so his speed may not be a big issue but I’d certainly agree with your rankings.Premer > Fryzel > Jacobson imo. I just think Jacobson is too slow to Be an impact player.
He did, he left campus this morningDid he visit already
I think they would if Premer wants in. They wanted 2 in the '25 class and IMO Premer is the only plug and play prospect of the 3. Fryzel has great upside but like most will need time to get his body ready for prime time and it could take a year or two. Jacobson is very good but his game isn't a dynamic one and going to be exclusively an inline TE.So we gonna take 3?
I think you only take 3 if Premer wants in and we have 2 silents. If Premer wants to be 1 of 2, take him and stay at 2I hate the idea of stacking three TEs in a class, especially with the early interest from a loaded 2027 class and the guys that camped two weeks ago.
From what I understand is that they wanted to take 2 TE in '25. 1(T-TE) & 1(M-TE) But only got 1 in James Flanigan, who IMO is a stud. While he's more than just an inline TE, he's still more of traditional do it all TE rather than the new school modern TE types.I agree with most of the sentiments here. Premer is the best of the bunch, I think you take him no matter what. I think Jacobson is being undervalued a little bit here. Jacobson is definitely more of a traditional TE, but that is why everyone wanted two. You take the more modern TE in Fryzel (or Premer) and then a traditional TE in Jacobson.

IMO Jacobson & Fryzel would be great pickups but I don't see them playing early, they need time to marinate more or less.
So because I think those 2 need time and that Premer is much more of a plug and play prospect and the fact that they wanted 2 TE in the previous class it does make sense to me to take 3 in '26 to get the 4 total that they wanted.
Come 2026 if they had a base 12 personnel you're going to have Flanagan and Flanigan ahead of Jacobson for the inline TE. As for the M-TE they've got 1 season of the unknown Ty Washington. Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised but I'm not going to hold breathe on this one. Then there's Jack Larson. I like the kid and I want him to make it and he has elite hands and route running skills however he is short and slow for the position IMO .
In this scenario Premer would have a real possibility for quality PT while giving a year for Fryzel for his body to catch up with his readymade receiving skills.
I totally understand it, but I also really really do not get it lolMan the Allen Lazard-type kids just kill you. I guess it's good to know that he won't be on a team that's a threat, but it makes you scratch your head.
This is a great analogy for this situation. Can't win them all, but yeah, its frustrating.Man the Allen Lazard-type kids just kill you. I guess it's good to know that he won't be on a team that's a threat, but it makes you scratch your head.
Those kids are "enamored" with their region, guess these days we might see him in the portal after a couple of seasons.Man the Allen Lazard-type kids just kill you. I guess it's good to know that he won't be on a team that's a threat, but it makes you scratch your head.
