Holy Christ, Mike Brown sucks. He’s worse than Del.
Hmmm, I wonder who you are.
Cool name, btw. From a hair dryer, ya?

Why? He was a bust in a bad Clemson WR Room.Exactly....... You're typically getting a WR that can't make the top 5 wrs at their school, or one from a much lesser program. I like the 3 we got this year, and I think they'll all make an impact. But only Collins do I think has a slight chance to be a game changer.
They got a decent haul, but the sunshine pumpers are acting like they brought in AAS
Coming in strong I seeThey got a decent haul, but the sunshine pumpers are acting like they brought in AAS
Speaking of bad…….Why? He was a bust in a bad Clemson WR Room.
Thats false going back the last 5-6 Michigan, 'Bama, Georgia and LSU best players were not portal players (Joe Burrow was before the portal). All the recent championship winning teams their best players have come from the portal. Except Georgia and probably a few other teams.
Maybe they learn to take better prospects to begin with and try to close with big fish. Low hanging prospects to start and going for big fish approach simply hasn't worked. Product on the field at the position has to be better as well. They got a decent haul, but the sunshine pumpers are acting like they brought in AAS
No chance all 3 of these guys go to LSU
90% of us would just take it in stride and look to the next recruits or the portal. It’s just the whiny ass chicken littles that melt down like Fukushima every time something doesn’t appear to go NDs way. It’s like clock work the peeps that come and freek out when bad stuff happens but never are here for the good shit. It’s laughable. I sure as shit wouldn’t want to be around any of you in a real emergency when this is how you react to stuff that truly has no impact on your life. Peace and find some love.

I agree, Poker and Stuckey should have the highest blame. Supposedly we were in a really bad spot with Meadows, Robinson and Hines when Mike Brown took over and it was a miracle we even lead for all three at one point. At this point Mike Brown needs to prove it on the field during the season and flip some kids or pick up someone who blows up his season year. Until he does proves that, the other teams are going to have a field day negatively recruiting against us at WR
Was ND considering anyone else for the WR coach besides Brown?
All the talk of why a big time WR would come to ND, ND needs Meadows the most.
You mean 4* and 5* WRs who can run like the wind and catch everything in a wide radius. 🤷Weird that some teams are able to recruit receivers. Mike Brown should take notes.
Meadows alone is not the answer in the least bit...they have some serious work to do in the next 4 months to rectify this level of WR recruiting. Was ND considering anyone else for the WR coach besides Brown?

Nope - it's someone that understands that all your bitching and moaning only has an effect on one person - yourself. It's one thing to state that you are disappointed with the current crop of WR recruits and would like to see that improve, but it's another thing altogether to drone on and on and on and on and on and... Believe it or not, but the good people of Irish Envy have no control over the football program at Notre Dame no matter how often the same complaint is beaten to death. This here is the approach of someone that accepts regular losing and no improvements
Yup. ND football is an enjoyable hobby. When you let it absorb your life to the point where the decisions of high school kids negatively impacts your attitudes/moods then it's a problem.Nope - it's someone that understands that all your bitching and moaning only has an effect on one person - yourself. Same. My twins were born the day before 2016 V-tech game. I was rocking one of them when the game ended and really didn't seem to care anymore. They day that the school pays for my children's education is the day that I will get invested.Used to be me. I was an asshole to everyone in my life for a whole month because of 2011 scUM.
Having my first kid changed that for me. His first game at one month old was 2016 Texas. What a frustrating, heartbreaking game. But after it was over… I was mad, but really didn’t care that much the next morning.
Bama broke me. Realized I had to love ND but not let it control my emotions to such an extent. I get bummed when we lose and it sucks for a little while, but then I realize I don't want to be a miserable curmudgeon, and I have a drink and get over myself. haUsed to be me. Yeah, Shephard. Too bad ND couldn't get him, but could they have gotten him and Denbrock. The guy from UW wasn’t it?

Yep. I’ve put this story out here a couple of times. My daughter’s first ND game was the Marshall game. My dad, who has since passed, and I, took her and it was a day I’ll never forget. We left at the end and while obviously the scoreboard was disappointing, she looked at me and told me it was her best day ever. Tough to be too disappointed after that.Used to be me. I was an asshole to everyone in my life for a whole month because of 2011 scUM.
