Bama is becoming a concern and a visit quietly being coordinated in back ground.

I do not consider him a commit FWIW.

He's got an OC recruiting him who can remind him that he just coached up an athletic 6'4" 190lbs kid to the Heisman and likely top 10 pick.

Curious to see how it plays out. He has 3 trips planned to ND between March, the spring game, and an OV. I don’t think they can cut him loose but they should absolutely offer some QBs to show they’re not playing around

Freeman and the QB coach should announce planned visits to Brentwood academy in Tennessee and Belview in Michigan over the coming weeks.

No need to push him out or do anything rash, IMO. But, the difficult conversations should be had. And, be prepared to act on whatever he does. If he takes that visit then be prepared to have QB's to ND for visits as well. All the while making sure he knows he's wanted in South Bend.

If Deuce is gonna take surreptitious visits to other schools, time to move on. Consider him no longer a commit and go to plan B, who is...who at this time?
Our Plan B is committed to Stanford because we took a hasty commitment from Deuce Knight when he learned our Plan B was coming to Notre Dame to commit.

Actually, don't think they will recruit him. Moving on elsewhere

This. I like taking a HiPo player like Deuce in the 2025 class, but the staff should not get burned here.

Oh I wouldn’t even pick up the phone if I was Bear. The staff played his ass by taking Deuce when they did. They made their bed.

Can you imagine voluntarily choosing to attend Mississippi over Notre Dame?

Me? No. But if you’re from Mississippi, I can’t imagine a harsher culture clash for a young kid. They’d probably ask the same question about attending ND over Mississippi or another SEC school.

It isn’t a coincidence that ND doesn’t recruit in Mississippi.

If Deuce doesn't wanna be here then that's fine, we will have a loaded QB room regardless any QB would be dumb to not wanna play for ND especially with the OL we will have on the roster.

I highly doubt we lose him. And stop thinking bear is anywhere close to what Deuce is.
