Singer Soooooooo out of touch.

He put in his Futurecast for Bear a few days ago & double-downed on it last night.

Then this morning he says, “Bear waited, Knight didn’t,…” trying to make it seem like his pick was right, but Bear just waited too long.
No Singer, Knight already committed. Bear never got the chance.

He needs to renew his subscription to II, IB, and 247 before he puts out intel.

In-depth from Wiltfong

“I think relationships played a key part into the whole recruiting process and thats where I had the best relationship. Coach Freeman was the most involved person in my recruitment from a head coach standpoint. I talked to Coach Freeman three, four times a week."

You love to see it.

I’m not a “Tommy warrior”, they’re just facts. You can criticize him for a number of things but he played a huge part in reshaping the QB room in a 6 month span.
His poor recruiting/development of the position also led to the disaster that was Buchner/Pyne last year. I think we can at least admit he was learning on the job at ND and was given a position he wasn't qualified for by Kelly.

A lot has to shake out for ‘25 class, but how would we rank ND’s QB recruiting over the 3 year haul?

‘23 Minchey (top 10)
‘24 Carr (top 5)
‘25 Knight (top 5)

You could make a strong argument that Carr is top 3 & Knight is #1, 2 & 4 on three sites (fucking Andrew Ivins has him 10 outside the top 200).

I would say it’s top 3-5 range.

ND along with Texas, OSU, Bama, OU, Oregon has signed/committed 3 top 20 QBs (for their class) in that span. If you narrow it to top 15 then OU gets knocked out. UGA and Tennessee could join that group once they get a '25 commitment. I don't think there's any one school you could point to and say they're definitively recruiting the QB position better than ND right now. Feels weird to say that

The ball just jumps off this kid’s hands. Elite frame with lots of room to grow into it. Hard not to be excited about the potential here

I sure hope his commitment is contingent on absolutely ZERO visits to any other school.

Sorry just nervous to accept this commitment so early, but hopeful it sticks.

It took Tommy a minute to figure out how to recruit the QB position for ND. Good to see Gino and MFMF have teamed up to figure out how to not get Dante Moore'd again, and have done so early in Gino's time as QB coach.

You might still get left at the alter because you're dealing with high school kids at a premium position, and I'm sure the NIL shit will get crazier and crazier for Deuce the closer it gets to NSD in '25.

But holding on to a commitment is better than getting strung along by a "silent" commitment that doesn't mean shit. At least this way you have a guy helping recruit his class openly.

If by minute, you mean 5 years, then I agree!

Phil, Pyne, & Buchner who all signed with ND, committed earlier.
So did Carr.
They all committed before their Junior season.

Driskell, just now said, “Stay tuned this week for more recruiting coverage, it’s not the end of the commits, it’s going to be a fun week, I promise you.”

Cool.

Driskell would be excited about Davis Andrews, so I’m hoping it’s a bit more than a ‘24 turned 2026 recruit.

For those that say it’s too early, when is it not too early?

Incredible news. The QB room at ND is STACKED for the foreseeable future. Welcome about Deuce!

That commitment video was one of my favorite ever. Seems like a special kid!

I have noted reasons to worry. But if you're looking for the positives, the kid's been leaning to ND for ~5 months, it's not like it's a post-1st- visit ND jumping others to the top. And Mom's been to campus.

It's OSU week. Time to start believing. We probably don't lose another game in my lifetime.

We all know that he could take visits to other schools. We all know he could decommit. Same can be said for quite literally every commitment ND has taken in the 24 and 25 classes. Until or unless Deuce starts doing that there's no reason to assume his commitment won't stick. Inb4 the enlightened pessimist brings up that signing day for the 2025 class is a year away.
