You've heard of JOK. Now get ready for NOB.

Also, Lion just cursed this kid, so don't get your hopes up.

True or false:

This is an obvious, in-family offer that BK definitely would NOT have cleared this early.

I feel like our success rates with little brothers and legacies makes it less likely to sign them if they are one. We lost out on both Styles and Bobby taylor this year, but hey we got the little Hinnish. Im still not over Bobby Taylor, who far from their highest rated recruit, many AM fans called their most important recruit since he was such an active and energetic recruiter for them in bringin together their elite class.

Good point, Philly. Do you think there is a reason for that? Recently, I can only think of Romeo & Julian, Jarron & Jamir, and Zach & Nick.

EDIT: Not counting twins Jayson & Justin and the Atkinson's (Rest in Peace).

I'm really not sure, and obviously maybe I just fixate on the ones we lose, cause we did also get Ron Powlus III last year. But that really seems more like a throw away. Also, it seems like the ones we lose out on are the high rated guys, like Paris Ford, the St. Browns and there's definitely some more major ones. Point is, if he's highly rated and connected to ND, I usually view it as a slight bump for ND if anything rather than a strong lean.

Thanks, Philly. Slight bump vs. strong lean is a great way to put it, and I agree. I am encouraged by JOK's retweet though. I hope it indicates a difference from the St. Brown approach, in particular.

I forgot about Bobby Taylor Jr. whose father is my all-time favorite ND CB. That one hurts. Freeman says that he's going to get the former players more involved and I hope this helps those situations. Oh man, Bobby Taylor Jr...
I'm still going root him. He can transfer in.

Did the big dogs even recruit his brother? Hopefully not and the family hold a grudge.

On one podcast IB (Roberts and Driskell) brought up the top targets for the '25 class and neither mentioned Owusu- Boateng. Then on a separate show a few days later, they were asked who their top wants were and again, neither mentioned Owusu-Boateng. Driskell even listed Sacca, Christian Jones, and Mikhail as his top wants at LB. I brought up Owusu-Boateng and they both basically said they're not very confident about a kid that transfers to IMG. That hurt my heart.

Any mention of Madden Faraimo? He visited plus Golden had an in school visit at J Serra. Loy mentioned he’s strongly considering the Irish. Top 50 player as of now.

I don't think they mentioned him specifically. The other two guys were Justin Hill and Landon McComber.

I wonder how much of that rating is because scouts know how his brother turned out with a similar athletic profile, and how much is because he's about to be a DI recruit at IMG... is he a sure-fire 5-star man, or is he getting the benefit of the doubt from a couple of directions?

Either way... I hope he considers ND home at some point like his brother did.
