Note that Braylon goes to a different high school though.

i'm trusting our coaching staff but this kid having a bad offers list and only ranked #37 to #41 as a CB scares me a little. wonder if he had a monster jr year and our irish are one of the first big time programs to take notice after watching his film

Saw that he was visiting so I watched his film. I think it's a great early offer. Long and fluid athlete. Might lack a little bit of suddenness but I think that could easily come with maturation and S&C.

If Prime and Mickens wants him there is no reason for any fear. Beyond that we don't know if he has the go ahead to commit or if his offer is conditional on others going else where. Either way I trust this staff's ability to identify talent in the back end of the defense.

BTW we're 13 posts deep with no mention of his 5.1 GPA.

What's next, a thread on recruiting juco's?

Is corner recruiting complete with him? I don’t really see the need for a third in this class unless it’s a hybrid

They will keep the option for a third if it's a top target. If Moore commits to ND at some point, ND is not going to stop going after Aaron Scott or Kaleb Beasley.

Just my opinion of course, but considering how hard they are still pursuing Beasley, it doesn't seem that they are going to stop because another CB jumps on board.

Agreed, I think this is just very smart recruiting. Fill your base needs with quality players and profile fits. Then you can take the rest of the cycle looking for an "elite" guy for a 3rd spot.

What’s wrong w what I Said??? We need to land him
Well, I don't think they need to do anything as of January 31st, 2023. I think they want too. Big difference but because he's a 3 star you seem unwilling to accept that possibility.

Less concerned with his star ranking and more curious about why he doesn't have offers from any of Texas, Texas A&M or Oklahoma. Those programs don't like making a habit of letting elite 6A skill position players leave the area. I'm sure they absolutely know who he is by now.
