From everything I've seen the past week, when Carr is ranked with other 2027 QB prospects, he's about QB4 or QB5. The hype is not really there outside Irish fans

Normally, I would agree. But when we win the natty, he still won't have hit 30 career starts. The NFL is placing a huge emphasis on playing recently (exception Ty Simpson). I am sure CJ will get good feedback bc of family connections

He's the outlier imo. This isn't a death sentence for CJ Carr's NFL prospects, but he's not a consensus top prospect at this time. Bruce Feldman was on The Athletic Football Show's Live Draft show last week and the way he referred to CJ makes it seem like he'd be Feldman's QB4 or QB5 in 2027. This could potentially be good news for us in 2027...

the majority of NFL media scouts/draftniks simply dont watch CFB enough to give qualified opinions until a player has announced and then they will stick on the tape

theres a bunch of disdain amongst the nerdier NFL beat guys like Benjamin Solak for CFB QB's and the quality of coaching they are getting too. They will love CJ's game though im sure of that.

Honestly, he is pretty good. He has a love for a type of qb though and likes cannon arms. He also said Moore was the best cb he scouted since Jalen Ramsey, likes Boubacar Traore and KVA
