Driskell just said he could see Scott committing to Miami over the summer. Driskell and Shaun Davis both think he will end up signing with a Midwest school though. Driskell also thinks Michigan is ahead of ND right now.

Driskell said on his show that the only people who feel good about ND are ND people.
He said Miami, Michigan & Georgia sources all don’t see ND even in Scott’s top 2 anymore.
It’s bizarre how the ND staff feels one way & everyone else feels the opposite.
That's fair.

For now, I'll trust that the staff has read this one right and lands his verbal commitment. If not, like I mentioned, it's quite the blunder and we can chase that rabbit then.

I continue to think the money will matter later. We'll see.

If he goes to Miami, fine. Money & south beach won out.
If he goes to UGA, fine. Money & 2-time defending champs won out.
But Michigan? That would be the ultimate donkey punch while getting bent over.
Cannot lose him to a Midwest team who also isn’t offering insane amounts of money.

If Scott is asking them for money then they probably think nd doesn’t have a shot…. Maybe nd has a new better plan to counter? Don’t know. It will be telling if we land him or don’t come close to landing him, meaning we aren’t even recruiting him 6 months from now say like keeley.

running the 247 class calculator, Basically going to need either Scott or Rushing for this class to be better than last years at this point. looks like we end up in a similar spot as last without.

Minus the safety position, every positions here on out have top of the board targets, that are all in the Top 200/250.

K Young, Nelson, lambert, Brix, Cole, KVA, Scott, Rushing, M. Williams, Beasley.

The current class is missing a lot of beef in that Top 100 to 250 range as we’ve seen in the last two classes, but ND will get their guys. Also, certain players like Cole Mullins will finish much higher than where they are ranked currently.

I’ll go on record and say that if ND gets 80% of their top remaining targets, they’ll finish Top 8. If they get them all, they will finish Top 6.

I’m fine with grabbing him as a transfer when Miami goes 5-7 and he doesn’t get as much NIL as he was promised.

Weird to see Miami go the A&M route with NIL

Many, many years ago Miami football was all about high paid (under the table) "thugs" ... slime-ball Jimmy Johnson made sure of that!

If he is taking the normal Miami football classes, it will be tough to get him transferred over through ND admissions.

1 of them is not like the rest of them. We all have been right and wrong in recruiting world as have the “experts”. You tell us to watch his actions and they don’t say ND.

Which one is “night like the rest”? You are saying one of those 5 schools plays more night games than the others and that’s the school he is going to? The school that plays the games a night.

Sorry bud. I had to bust your balls on this one

Miami? The only school of that list to - hasn't played in their conference championship game (remember when ND did that), hasn't been to the playoffs, has two losing seasons out the past 5, three head coaches in 5 years.

Miami was in the ACC championship game in 2017.

They got obliterated by Clemson.

Miami? They're the one that's bad at football but is in a fancy place and is writing big checks and hooking up moms with jobs.
Georgia? They're the one that actually wins nattys and stacks up NFL defensive linemen but also where he probably doesn't see the field for a few years.
Ohio State? They're the one if you want to go three-and-out and win most but not quite all your games.
Michigan? They're the ones who suck.

Fun fact. Miami has yet to win an ACC title.
Miami is the most front-running crowd in the history of sports.
Remember the 2017 ND game that was sold out & crazy?
Then after that, being ranked #2, they got destroyed 3 straight games and it was a funeral at their games. No Miami fans.

2011 South Florida and Michigan far outweigh Miami 2017 imo. But the fact we got our ass kicked in the national stage does give you an argument.

2019 Michigan is up there as well

If you criticize ND for not getting this recruit (which they likely aren’t), I hope they ban your ass for trolling. It’s not funny what you are doing.

Why would I criticize that? I like how they're recruiting.

I trust the sources from ND here. I think we're in for a pleasant surprise.

Told Chad Simmons that UGA is now tied at #1 with Miami & ND.

Not good UGA is up there.
Great he didn’t mention Michigan.
Good he still mentions ND as tied for first.
