Turtle is also the one who kept saying Dante is Irish (he might have been silently but we all know how that turned out).

True, but in all fairness Dante was a silent at one point so don't be to hard on Mr. Turtle

That being said, I think Scott will announce for Miami or Georgia for NIL reasons.

My apologies, as my intent was not to be hard on him. More of a warning to other posters to not get your hopes up lol. I enjoyed his calmness during the Moore food thread fiascos.

He’s trolling. This way when he goes elsewhere he can say how the admin isn’t serious about winning

I'm getting the feeling ND feels sneaky good about Scott. The timing of Wafle decommtting a few days after Washington visited Scott is one signal.

But another is, I get the sense ISD is putting out wording that they don't want to eat down the road. For instance, their source in today's Intel mentions how great the current commits compliment one another, and he names them all. But he includes just Scott in that, and end it with "if he joins too". It's one thing for a source to say it like that, words fly fast, but ISD gets to filter that and they intentionally put it in there.

I could be wrong and I don't personally feel like Scott comes here, the data just doesn't support it. But there's an argument that the signal is growing...

I would say Alabama. It seems like their new thing is to make big moves right before signing day and they don't have any other big interior guys committed or even look like they lead for.

Based on what you’ve heard?
No, just my hunch based on following the recruitment.

I have a hard time seeing him saying no to Mamma this early in the recruitment. But, I think towards the end when the money starts getting real, maybe even larger, it could change some things. Or, at least shake things up a bit.

This will be an interesting test case for NIL and star power.

He is mostly a long term development guy it seems and I'm curious with how an A. possibly readjusting NIL market will react to a sandwich eater, + 2. a senior year of film still showing more potential than production will = III. Profit?

Is he really a "long-term" development guy though?

I get that he overwhelms his competition. But this is a guy who a school like Georgia brings in every year, then re-shapes his body a bit and works on pad level and all of a sudden he's a starter on a national championship defense Year 2-3.

The film doesn't scream "all projection" to me. He could be due for a redshirt year, sure, but I don't see this as someone who doesn't start until his junior season. Maybe that's just me.

running the 247 class calculator, Basically going to need either Scott or Rushing for this class to be better than last years at this point. looks like we end up in a similar spot as last without.

Miami is offering to relocate her to South Beach.

With the way rules are now, “staying close to mom” is not really a thing like it used to be.
Programs are giving them “jobs” & providing them with houses, vehicles & a stipend.

While this may be true, Miami is also heavily pushing early playing time. If Leonard Taylor has a good season and goes pro, Scott could see immediate reps; there's not much depth at DT that would be in front of him there.

I understand. I just don’t think that is a decision that gets made now.

That’s likely one that gets made after he’s graduated or set to graduate from HS. But again, that’s JMO.

If Scott commits to Miami or UGA now and ND trades Wafle for Sevillano and then loses Scott. I think that’s quite the blunder. I would assume they’ve been given reason to be optimistic, at this moment in time.

Driskell said on his show that the only people who feel good about ND are ND people.
He said Miami, Michigan & Georgia sources all don’t see ND even in Scott’s top 2 anymore.
It’s bizarre how the ND staff feels one way & everyone else feels the opposite.

Maybe, but Scott's camp must be feeding the staff something to keep them interested. One would think the staff would have learned their lesson with the 2 from last year. Who knows some habits die hard.
