Usually any player from Georgia is always better than their rankings a 4 star from Georgia is like a 5 star from Illinois or Indiana.

watched most of the highlight video. Quite a few pointless pancakes that have little to no benefit to his team. Do see the nasty moments as mentioned above.

I’m not in love with Notre Dame being a commit’s best offer, but who knows. Good luck to the kid - I’ve never seen Prister go so hard on someone in a film review until his take on Anthonie.

Hopefully this frees the staff up to lock in on elite tackles. They need multiple really good ones.

A bit earlier than Jordan haha

Which is why Khari Gee was better than Blake Fisher

I think Knapp is definitely underrated though, great pickup
Jordan graduated from Roswell with my son, thought maybe you were a youngin...lol

I will say that since I've been following (over a decade) Roswell football, most that end up at big time schools do produce. Xavier Mckinney, Tre Lamar, Malik Willis, Jordan Tucker and Marcelino Ball to name a few. It does worry me though that none of the big 4 ( UGA, Clemson, Auburn and Bama) offered him...when those schools are at almost every game.

Seems like a smart take for Rudolph. They already have Peter Jones. Tap the Knapp relationship for a commit very early in the tenure. Gets the monkey off his back and gives the class a good start on numbers. With plenty of time to dig in on the OT prospects everyone wants.

Kind of you to include Auburn in that company.

Imagine if ND waited till Jan 19, 2024 to offer and they were STILL his best offer.

Now imagine if he turns out to be as good as JOK.

One of the best things Notre Dame has done recently is recruiting Georgia harder. Especially the Atlanta burbs.

Congrats Anthonie.

Just because the “Big Four” haven’t offered, doesn’t mean they won’t. Gotta trust that Rudolph can identify and develop talent (and history says that he can) and that if/when Knapp blows up that we can fend off the “Big Four” when those offers come.

Right. Just look at Keon Keely.

It would be an interesting strategy if that's what he's doing.

I have a preference for this cycle that they sign two true offensive tackles. Knapp and Jones both look like guys who could play tackle but likely project to guard. Also leaning, just me as a fan, toward taking a full five OL in this class.

Jones, Knapp, Brewer, Prescod and Lambert.

I have no idea what Rudolph, Freeman, and Parker are thinking. But I'd be pretty surprised to see us take 5 if those are the 5. We've taken 5 the last 3 cycles. Sure, Tanona's medical ineligibility does change your calculus a bit here, but that's still a lot of numbers. I think it's gotta be 3-5 but only 5 or 3 if it's the right 5 guy or 3 guy class.

No such thing as a “pointless pancake” Greg.

This guy makes Prister look like a cheerleader.
Maybe it is just me. The clip starting at 1:29 does not seem helpful vs the next clip which certainly will translate a lot better to the next level.
But would certainly say watching clips of o-linemen is quite hard to see talent in my opinion.

I assume Alt is going pro in a year. Then add any transfers.

Five isn't out of the question at all based on a variety of factors, mostly the amount of offers they're putting out.

With how important signing OT's in this class seems to be. I think you're recruiting to 5 total, 3 that can play OT, and maybe landing on 4 and 2 if you miss on one of the big fish.

Agreed. Ideally, Lambert and Sprague would call it a day at OT, but they're likely only getting one of those two.
