I could deal with one more year of Bertrand in the middle (I know, I know) if it means getting this kid a year under his belt and him taking the reigns over in the middle his second year on campus.

I'd love for Sneed to be the guy instead of Bertrand, but I just don't see it. Think he's better suited for outside.

It's definitely not sneed over betrand, it would be Bowen. On the current roster the next 3 lbs are Ausberry, Bowen, Sneed. Betrand isn't why we're losing but he doesn't make winning plays either. We need someone to know their fits and the ability to make winning plays.

Alabama is trying to get the Notre Dame four-star linebacker commit out for a visit and Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco teammate Peyton Woodyard is committed to the Crimson Tide so he’s trying to convince Viliamu-Asa as well. The word is that the high four-star probably won’t take a trip to Tuscaloosa and is locked in with the Irish but it’s something to watch in the closing months here.
Seems out of left field and feels like clickbait, considering they used Kingston as the thumbnail for the story. But who knows. Recruiting is dumb.

I mean, pretty good when they mention his teammate wants him to visit and they still think he is solid to ND and a visit won’t happen.

This would be going on everywhere. I’d be disappointed if KVA wasn’t trying to get Woodward to ND.

Rivals is the only site I see banging this drum. I don’t know what it’s saying, though.
Literally 8 days ago, (according to the article a few posts above in this very thread), Adam Gorney said the same thing he said in this article.
Why is he just repeating the same article a week apart?
Both times it’s fluff & KVA says he’s not interested.
So this time next week, same article again?

Excited to have him on site. Hope he becomes what we thought Marist COULD be

Question - You say with departures at LB, you hearing who is leaving or not being asked to come back?

I’m just assuming Bertrand and Kiser test the NFL waters or utilize their multiple degrees. Liufau should come back because he has legit NFL athleticism, but he probably needs more film.

Bowen and Sneed should make the transition pretty easy

Kiser aint a NFL player, wouldn't surprize me if he just walks away from the game even with a year of eligibility left

I never thought Farley, Smythe, Wright, etc…were NFL players either.
The NFL loves intelligent, hard working, assignment correct kids.
I could see Kiser as an UDA on a practice squad.

Drue Tranquil says hi.

Of the three LBs I actually would most want Kiser back, because I feel like he was underutilized and could shine with a bigger role. But it’s also fine to move on to the next generation. Either way, contributing as a second-string rotational LB would be a great outcome for KVA next year. Is he coming in January or June?

Also. TIL there is an NFL players charity chess tournament and of course Drue Tranquill won it.

Of the 3 LB's- Bertrand, Kiser, or Liufau I would want Bertrand back. I think he would be a great mentor for the next wave of young LB's at ND.

Folks freaking out as he’s been liking OSU tweets and some calling for him to flip.

Mom responding with a not happening as they’re “pretty solid” with their decision.

Isn’t one of the reason ND likes to end their season on the west coast is to firm up commitments? MF & staff better not pull a BK and blow it.
