“In terms of any potential official visits, Bowen said he needed to talk to Freeman first.

“If he says no, he says no. You know?” Bowen said. Asked if that means he’s locked into the Irish if Freeman doesn’t give his blessing on official visits, Bowen simply said: “Yeah.”

I think the link is free. Some encouraging. Some not. Some status quo quotes.

Honestly **** Lincoln Riley for leaving OU and setting off Lebby to OU otherwise it’d cause a lot less headache if we had Jackson Arnold right now, on multiple fronts haha.
How funny is it EJ is telling the Michigan board they are flipping Bowen & Bowen literally singles out Michigan and Harbaugh in a negative way. LOL
And doesn’t mention them when discussing schools he is interested in.

If ND had taken Jackson Arnold's verbal there would be lots of complaints about "settling" to soon. And it would be accurate.

Very pro Arnold. By the time Arnold was set to announce I think we had a pretty good split of folks saying he was the favorite of the trio. I know I got there.

This class is absolutely bonkers if Keeley and Bowen shut it down completely. I hope they realize that sooner rather than later.

I would have been happy with Arnold tbh. Bird in the hand and all that.

I actually liked Arnold and Vizzina as much or more than Moore. Vizzina I didn’t like him being from the Deep South but his skill set is great.

Nico was the best-of-best IMO.

Arch Manning is the most overrated player I’ve ever seen. With a different name he’s a 3-star with good intangibles.

Strongly disagree on Manning.
He actually gets more comments like that because of his name. If he had a different last name and was 6’4.5, athletic, strong arm and accurate, he would be a 5 Star and no one would question it.

Have you taken the time to watch his film? There is a reason top coaches and scouts are so high on him.
The last name is actually just a bonus because you know he will work hard & be smart.

If Bowen is serious about what he said that he want's be at Notre Dame that's all I care about in this thread.

He committed, visited other schools, and realized ND is the right school for him. If BK was still our coach would he still say that? MF doing his homework on the recruiting trail.

Arch is better than his haters think and not as good as his fans think
How about the coaches recruiting him?
Do you think Nick Saban cares one bit about anything other than getting the best players possible?
The scouts I’ve read, the unbiased ones who don’t care one way or the other, say it’s a Trevor Lawrence situation. Tall, strong arm, accurate, athletic & really smart with a great attitude and leadership skills.
The pedigree is just a bonus.
Sounds legit to me?

Y’all need to start preparing yourselves. Keeping this class together with the NIL shenanigans will be tough. Kind of think that was why BK left…. He saw the writing on the wall that LSU will have a much easier path forward in this environment. Godspeed Freeman.

If they treat him the same as Rhett and he takes those OV’s, then he’s no longer viewed as a commit.

Good luck son. I trust Freeman and company to continue to work their tails off to bring in a group of high quality kids to compete at ND. The road will not be straight and we will lose some, but we will gain others. We'll be watching a E:60 documentary on the horrors of NIL in a few years and what could have been for some young men.

This is one of those maybe he ends up at ND and maybe he doesn’t, but either way you have to wonder why he bothered “committing” to ND when he did when he clearly was nowhere near done with the process.

Could be kids wanting to leverage the schools for higher payouts

Reserve your spot where you’d want to go if you weren’t getting paid, but then go out to search for the highest bidder. It’s gross but with NIL being the shit show it is I don’t really blame these kids.
