give me a break

he'll start at Kentucky just like he'd start at Nebraska with around double the money. good for him

who gives a shit? Flip? He'll have just as much film on tape at Kentucky to flip going into the draft

if enough congresspeople make a rule saying you can only have one transfer before you sit a year... and coaches are beholden to their contracts. we could have something

but good luck. lots of dudes are making a lot of passive income off of the labor of a loy of workers

I dont see that happening
Draft? CFL? Gimme a break. Given he won’t be playing in the NFL I really can’t blame him for getting as much dough now. Homes in South Bend are cheap and pretty sure he’s getting his ND degree so good deal for him. Staying this year as a serviceable backup should get him some love. Coming back next year if Carr leaves for the NFL would be interesting. Big tryout year for him coming up. Hope he stays injury free on that team.

If a player did that to ND people would be pissed and question his integrity. Do it to another school & people say it’s a wise business decision. I don’t blame him but the reactions are funny. So far he has committed to 4 schools with a decommit during high school and portal recruiting. He is getting paid and has thrown under 30 passes. Glad we have Carr.

Closer to home and more money. Outside of the awkward conversation with Nebraska, this seems like a no brainer for him.
Do we think he actually had a sorry but not sorry conversation with Nebraska? Would Nebraska even answer the phone? Just too bad that don’t play each other next season. I did like that he wasn’t named our starter and might have pushed Carr a little bit. The so called QB competition and the nonsensical swirl it caused was a bunch of BS. Might be hard to look great at Kentucky.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised either way, but I like to believe he would be accountable for his decisions and not have others do his dirty work. That said, the main reason I included it is because, without evidence, I'm not going to make negative assumptions about these guys.

If you’re interviewing for a few jobs and you say all the right things and you’d love to join the Org to the first interview, until you sign the offer letter you’re allowed to weigh your options. If Kenny “signed” with Nebraska and then tried to get out, people would have a much different tune.

I guess neither us will ever know what really happened.

Committed to Nebraska, supposedly for $2 million.

Flipped to Kentucky a day later, supposedly for $3 million because evidently he hadn't signed anything with Nebraska

For and additional mill, can't blame him.
