Hahaha horka is a clickbait idiot. we have a true sophomore and true junior who have never played meaningful snaps 2 days into campb and are making judgements. Can't wait for actual real information to come out
I can’t *possibly* imagine caring about any observations at this point.

Who actually has the stronger arm between the two? I keep hearing that Kenny is the more mobile quarterback, which surprises me a bit based on their high school highlights, I always thought Carr was the more athletic one.

But if Kenny truly has the bigger arm and better mobility, I’m leaning toward him winning the job. He’s also been with the team for a full year longer, which likely means stronger chemistry with his teammates and a deeper understanding of the system.

At some point, something has to give and if it comes down to who’s more dynamic, I’m betting on Kenny.

I read it as On3 is almost overtly pushing for Minchey to win the job. Just as they did Angeli to a certain extent in Spring.

Minchey is a slightly better runner, CJ has a clearly stronger arm and is more accurate. Pick your poison, both can be good. Carr could be great.

Based on the stuff I’ve seen, Carr effortlessly throws the ball all over the field and Kenny doesn’t have that natural ability. But his arm is good enough.

I think it comes down to consistency and making good decisions. They both have the tools to be winners.

The issue I have with Minchey is he looks good at times but then makes a really bad throw and gets INT. Just like in the spring game.

Yeah it feels like the knock on Minchey is, and always has been, reading the field and decision-making. But Carr is also still learning that. I suspect whichever of them the staff is more confident has the mental parts down will win the job. Physically they both have sufficient tools.

I think with Carr you will have INT and people act like he can't run hes a very capable runner. Is he gonna be like Leonard? No, but I could see if getting some 50 yard games this year. I think with Carr you will see more big plays and with a guy like Fields who you can throw it up to 40-45 yards for 50/50 balls Fields is gonna come down with it 75% of the time.

I think it boils down to who is more ready to beat Miami, not necessarily who is the future of the position. No clue who that is but it is fun seeing it play out.

You can makes cases for both. I like the fact that Carr is taller and is the better natural thrower. His deep ball could be a real weapon. I've also heard great things about his film study which is an attribute. Minchey is slightly faster and has the quicker release. He should be able to move around better in the pocket. My concerns with Carr if he's mentally ready for his debut in a hostile, important road game that everyone will be watching. Also, I if oline's pass blocking is suspect can he move around to make plays. Clearly both guys are talented.

I've been struggling with the QB decision only to come to the realization that I'll let the coaches decide.
Yeah, I will be a bit let down if Carr doesn’t work out here considering the now fairly long running qb development struggles here, but if Minchey legit takes the job then ok,… whoever it is MUST hit tho.

Seen some talk that he was actively bad in the spring game and I’m not sure where that comes from. I thought Carr looked the more promising but there was a lot of good here too

The more you watch the film from the spring game there was like 2-3 deep balls where guys coulda came up with it to give him a better day. People tend to forget Love nor our top 4 WR’s even played in the spring game.

Kenny is from Tennessee and Vandy is gonna need a new QB next year. Just sayin...
Would make sense. If Carr plays well all year, we have our QB1 for next year and hopefully the year after.

Doesn’t leave much room for Kenny. Unfortunately, that’s the world of CFB that we live in these days.

Kenny is the answer to the goal to go conundrum. It's easy to spot the deciesvness he has in the read option game and between him and Love, would be damn near impossible to stop in short yardage. Hell, Raridon will likely get a few easy ones off it.

Marcus makes a point of talking how every rep is important, I wonder if Minchey's reps will register.
