Good catch, I edited the post. Freeman said next weekend. I just posted it incorrectly.
"Walking out of that tunnel and fans saying, 'O-Line U' was my favorite part. They know the history of what coach Hiestand has done with the O-line. They want what's best for me and that is Notre Dame."
I agree. We have enough Guards and I don't think he can play Tackle.Maybe I'm in the minority here but if Absher is in first, I'd like to see the staff wait here.
I mean, anytime we can get a recruiting victory for an Ohio player that OSU really wants, I'm in 99% of the time. But, I don't see going to 5 OL making sense when we have other position groups that I'd rather load numbers on like DB or DL. Or any defensive ATH.
Heck, I'd rather take both Limar and Love than a 5th OL. I'd rather take a long project type DB than a 5th OL. There is a fairly sizeable list of things that come before a 5th OL, IMO.
All of this, of course if there's inside knowledge on if we have impending post spring transfers could make u think differently.Maybe I'm in the minority here but if Absher is in first, I'd like to see the staff wait here.

Or injuries. The Tanona situation has been in the back of my mind since I read of it.All of this, of course if there's inside knowledge on if we have impending post spring transfers could make u think differently.
I'm also looking at it that one of 4 is Freeling.

My concern is that we might get Freeling and not Jagusah or vice versa. Wouldn't want to be behind on the numbers then.Maybe I'm in the minority here but if Absher is in first, I'd like to see the staff wait here.

Agree.....Bird in the hand.My concern is that we might get Freeling and not Jagusah or vice versa. Wouldn't want to be behind on the numbers then.
I am also really concerned on getting Tanona back in action. That car wreck he was in was bad and not on his body but rather his brain. I hope he doesn't have to medically retire.
Harry is hurting on numbers right now as a lot of the young guys all had medical hardships right when getting enrolled. Depth stinks right now.
I meant to say I would not take him as OL number 5...that would mean we had 4 committed alreadyAgree.....Bird in the hand.
Maybe depth that is ready to play right now is an issue. But this class won't help with that either. We could sign 10 OL in the '23 class and it does nothing to fix that problem. What we need is for HH to coach up the 9 from the last two cycles. Another 5 puts us at 14 over 3. Seems like overkill to me. Even if you back out Tanona, that's 13.My concern is that we might get Freeling and not Jagusah or vice versa. Wouldn't want to be behind on the numbers then.
