'23 NJ S Adon Shuler (Notre Dame Signee)

stlnd01

Was away. Now returned.
Love it...It's ridiculous that he has dropped in the ratings for really no apparent reason.
Frankly I don't want anyone noticing this kid until he starts leveling ballcarriers in a couple years.

Also, this, from that story...

“With Peyton (Bowen), Adon talks to Peyton, they play video games. His mother Amy talks to my wife all the time. And so, with the Bowen's, it's just regular. It's regular as well with Drayk (Bowen), with his father Jeremy. Me and him, we talk, we text each other all the time.”
Adon was thrilled to see Peyton Bowen and others over the weekend.
“Everybody's on the same page,” Adon Shuler said. “That's really the best part about it. Me and Peyton have a great relationship. And our families have a great relationship, too. So, it was like second nature, seeing him again is just like playing the game and being with each other…It was great, got to see him and talk. It was cool. He's a very cool person.

Did he play in the all-star game? I hope this wasn't an injury he incurred during that week. I'm starting to dislike these all-star games more and more tbh. I don't really see the value they add to a kid, once his high school career is over.

With NIL there's huge implicit value in them. The more ESPN and NBC and recruiting sites can hype up the games and the players the more each individual player can benefit financially. Plus they all get a free trip, get treated like royalty, and get to play on the biggest stage of their young careers up to that point.

He injured his shoulder during his senior season but it wasn’t bad enough to keep him from playing. It wasn’t until he got to ND when it was determined to go ahead and have it surgically repaired.

Totally get the NIL aspect and it's easier for me to say when I'm not in his shoes, but I do wonder if surgery right after his senior season would've at least had him able to semi participate in spring? I don't know the severity of the injury so maybe it would've been a wash.

I remember watching practice highlights a few days ago and couldn’t help but think physically, Adon already looks like an NFL player. Now we hear he goes the extra mile in film study/meetings too?

Sky is the limit for him.
This sets up nicely to be a letdown. A lot of praise in the spring and then ST's at the most when the season rolls around.
