Is it considered a home or away game? If home I may be able to go w a buddy who gets tux for home games.
I usually hit 3/4 games a year and looking seriously at this for the family. Anyone taken this trip for the game in the past? Any reviews on it or suggestions? How far out do you need to be all over this?
I just loathe how they do the "package" thing... not my style of trip, don't mind overpaying for tickets but do mind overpaying for the other stuff.
not a fan of ND playing over seas or playing navy the 1st game of the year. im sure ND will have a bye week after this game i still don't like the jet lag. but on the flip side im sure this game will start at 8 am so that will be awsome.
Packages open on the 12th for those who had bought them for the 2020 game so I’d suggest you get on the day it opens to the public in order to get tickets.
naw usually the public sales are only for folks with Irish debit/credit cards. Its never open to US folks
As usual a number of high school games will be played on the weekend of the game (JD Bertrand played in Dublin back in 2012 when he was a HS underclassman)
Marist HS in Atlanta (Kyle Hamilton's HS) is the first school confirmed to be travelling in 2023
How could JD have played in Dublin in 2012? He would have been like...11 or 12?

he big event, a tripleheader at the iconic Donnybrook Stadium on Sept. 2, was planned in conjunction with the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, which saw Georgia Tech defeat Boston College at Dublin's Aviva Stadium the following day. Proceeds from the high school games were donated to Special Olympics Ireland.
Former Irish rugby champion Jim Bertrand said watching his son, Blessed Trinity's JD Bertrand, and his team practice and play on the same pitch where he led his rugby team to four national victories was a "surreal experience."
Before returning to the States, the high school teams gathered for an awards ceremony and a group dinner. The event's official motto of "Much More Than a Game" was visible throughout the players' journey. And on their last night, it could be seen in their smiles.
Which pub? Not a big fan of the Navy-ND game (I've been to 3 thru the years), but I gave in as part of taking my wife over to Ireland. Being that her grandfather migrated from Cork area, she has always wanted to go there for the sites. I surprised her with a travel pkg, for Christmas. Yes, it took the ND Irish to lure me to travel to meet the Irishmen in Dublin, plus the lure of Guinness![tweet]1456410179373785091[/tweet]
