I continue to look at New Orleans' spot and if Love is still on the board there I don't see how they pass. RB is still not a heavy value position in the NFL but Love is seemingly turning himself into a value RB that could be too good to pass up on. I don't know who would have the capital to trade up for him, but stranger things have happened. Still likely a long shot anyone trades up to get an RB that early.

2024 game against Miami of Ohio, but it was recovered by a teammate (Aamil Wagner), not resulting in a lost turnover
that was ruled that he didn't fumble...part of his consecutive games with a rushing TD streak?

He might be good enough to justify it. Saw McShay or someone else maybe talking about him, Styles, and Downs just being such good prospects that teams might just draft them even though it goes against the typical thinking these days.

I don't know that he'll last that long. The Titans subreddit has gone nearly full Love hopeful which is crazy.

Yeah, a lot can certainly change between now and the draft. The Titans seem to need an elite defender more, EDGE or CB, but who knows what they'll do. WR is also a need for them.

Love playing home games at the Superdome would seem like a lot of fun.

If anyone 2 - 5 is serious about drafting Love, you would have to expect they add some OL help in free agency prior to the draft.

Well assuming they are competent which is a big ask from some of those franchises.

7/8/9 is the golden area.

The Jets entire o-line is first and second round draft picks. They just lack a quarterback and weapons.

Downs medical from the combine came back with a partially torn meniscus and possibly a degenerative ACL. He's probably going to slide.

Love being a clearly superior back and oh yeah he doesn’t fumble and excels in pass protection is so awesome

I remember when Kyren was coming out and Mcshay, who was with ESPN at the time, said he is was questionable in pass protection. That infinitely eliminated him from my analysts that I take anything they say seriously. Say what you want about any RB at ND the past 5 years, but they know how to protect the QB and Kyren was one of the best I've ever seen as a RB in the pass game catching the ball and understanding pass protection.

I never understood why anyone listens to Mcshay. He is wrong more than a meteorologist.

That's unfortunate. I kinda find it funny I hate all these kids when they are in college and suddenly when they become professional I have sympathy for their earning potential. Maybe I'm getting soft.

Learning you hate the uniform more than the kid is a lowkey great way to boost your enjoyment of the sport on the whole.

Yes, I would like to credit Sam Darnold with helping me learn this lesson.

Edit: actually Troy polamalu did it. But the steelers drafted him so I was biased. These kids choose schools for any number of reasons. They are people and like greyhammer said, learning you don't actually hate them is very good for your soul.

Mcshay must have been watching some other Kyren's film. The dude was very good at pass pro and didn't care how big the guy was. He met them straight on.

I don't think the Titans will do it. Feels like they might be bluffing and looking for the Chiefs to offer them their firsts. It may be though that if nobody gives them a better deal and they end up taking Love as the best player available. He and Cam Ward would certainly be a handful and it's not like the Titans dont have a metric ton of cap space to work with and get other players.

He had an entire highlight reel of him kicking ass in pass pro. The Clemson game alone made him an RB pass pro legend.

McShay had to have a head injury to think that about Kyren

I'm sure McShay has had some bad draft takes, but I don't think he's ever criticised Kyren's pass pro ability. At least not pre or post 2022 draft. McShay was one of the few draft gurus who was still high on Kyren after the combine and thought the Rams got one of the best value picks in the entire 2022 draft when they got Kyren in the 5th round. The one direct quote I could find where he commented on Kyren's pass pro ability, he said this:

"He’s not afraid at all to put his face in the fan in pass protection."
