Was Henry as fun/dynamic to watch? Whoever drafts Love is gonna be putting asses in seats to watch him spin, hurdles bull, catch yadda yadda. Just makes football fun to watch!

I have an oddly good feeling about Love's chances, but without a conference championship game, he really needs to put on one more show against Stanford.

Because when Ohio State puts Indiana in their place in the Big Ten Championship it's going to help Sayin a lot. But I think the whole country knows he is the third-best player on a loaded offense. He's basically an Oklahoma QB of the 2000s and getting knocked for being a "system QB."

Love could benefit from the Heisman’s even regional distribution. The Midwest will be split. The West and Northeast have no candidate. The Southwest has Marcel Reed I guess. The Mid Atlantic and South will be split.

If he can prove to be the National flavor, the Northeast and West voters would prove to be huge swings.

Checking in again with the season totals:

185 carries, 1306 yards, 17 TD
25 catches, 274 yards, 3 TD

- He needs just one more TD to break the single season total TDs record. Currently tied with Jerome Bettis.
- He needs 132 yards rushing to break that record
- He needs 2 rushing TDs to break that record

I think we're witnessing the greatest season ever by an ND skill player.
And it’s a fair statement. Vegas Ferguson was 5th in Heisman voting. played in 29 games over four seasons. 683 attempts, 3,472 yards and averaged 5.2 per carry. Love has only played three seasons but does have 40 games with 2,816 yards averaging 6.7 but his attempts 419 are considerably lower.

Completely different sort of player but as a Titans fan, yes Henry was amazing to watch play football. It was like watching a real life person operating on Incredible Hulk logic. Hurting the Hulk makes him angrier, which just makes him more powerful, ad infinitum. The more you ran Henry, the more tired other teams would get, so his YPC would just keep going up and up. 2 yard runs turned into 5 yard runs turned into 10 yard runs turned into

He's going to look great in NY Jet green! Fill right in next to Breece Hall in a rotation of the ages!

We have a great o-line filled with first rounders. They've been giving Fields an average of 5 seconds to throw. If he had any type of anticipation and processing ability he could be lightning up the world.

He is 2 yards behind Emmett Johnson in Yards from Scrimmage. Nebraska plays Iowa. Should finish #1 in P4. He’s #1 in per play amongst anyone you would qualify as a starter at RB. He’s #1 in TDs in P4.

A stat line of like 175 yards and 2 touchdowns on 20 touches should seal those stats.

I would be shocked if Love isn't a starting RB in the NFL next year. Jeez, he's so good. You can't watch this team and say its not a championship contender when they field players like Jeremiyah Love.
He would be the starter THIS year on 80% of the teams

People keep comparing him to Henry as to why he shouldn’t win it. Let’s look at the stats.

Henry through 11 games:
249 carries 1524 yards 6.1 YPC 21 TDs, 91 receiving yards, 0 TDs. Total Yards: 1615 yards, Total Touchdowns: 21 TDs.
Love through 11 games:
185 carris 1306 yards 7.1 YPC 17 touchdowns, 274 receiving yards, 3 touchdowns. Total yards: 1580, Total Touchdowns 20.

Near identical final stats despite having significantly less volume than Henry
And his blocks are highlight reel worthy.

Vegas was a workhorse for sure but not the all around highlight film RB.

Odds down to +400 and Mendoza’s line moved off -115 down to -105. He’s at least going to be in New York

Soon as I posted this Mendoza jumped back to -115

SEC homers out in full force. He has revealed himself to have a terminal case of ND Derangement Syndrome and his entire account is dedicated now to pretending ND doesn’t deserve to go. Pathetic that a UT fan spends his days simping for Vandy and Bama. Sad!

SEC doing SEC things

Those numbers were before Saturday. Love has 20 total touchdowns, most of an P4 back. Love has 7.1 yds/a, most of any P4 back with at least 100 carries. Love has 20 total TDs, most of any power 4 player. Love has 1580 yds from scrimmage, 2nd by 2 yards of any power 4 back (on far less touches).

Objectively, he is the best back in the country.

That account's gone full on stupid. Nevermind the fact Texas has 3 losses, one of which was an ass kicking by Georgia, and another was a bad loss to a terrible Florida team.
